Of course they benefitted a bit more. So what!!! Why does that bother you? What's with you and the competition schtick?

And no I don't care about the two years you lost over 25 years ago that you've been grasping at straws hoping to get back for all this time. I wasn't even in AA 25 years ago.

I don't care who got what, when, where and why.

And I really don't care about wasting my time with this conversation. Go through the process. File your protest with the Arbitrator and wait for the response telling you again that nothing's going to change.

Otherwise I don't know who you're looking to bother about this on Forums? I'm certainly not changing my mind and you're not going to change my mind either.

so this place is the famous small pond/big fish. you have 10,000 posts and you didn't know that legacy us air fscs have benefited more (pay & seniority) from this merger? yet, you're trying to dictate the narrative of what you say, is the be all, end all? you have scolded some posters about their opinion about that...and you're wrong. you seem angry that someone challenged you on that.

as far as the seniority issue, again, all you do is try to steer the narrative. he's angry, he's angry at us air...ok, act as though you want to be informed, then mock the issue...then attempt to ingratiate yourself to us air posters. rinse repeat. eeeww...maybe i'll shy away. do you think someone is trying to dethrone you on this forum as the baggage handler guru? is this 8th grade or high school?

seniority is important. that's why you're in mia, in case you haven't noticed. fairness is another issue. as you said, sometimes, life isn't fair....though, if it's work-related, one can certainly talk about it here - as much as you go to the AMT thread and tell the mechanics their business or you telling me that you defeated life's rainy days and mondays and are happy in mia. God bless you.

And who the hell said I wanted to be a Union exec either BTW? I've run for a few tiny positions yes. But if I had won it doesn't mean I'm going to kiss your ass and tell you you're right just to make you feel good.

I hate baby kissing and ass kissing Politicians anyway. The truth hurts and life is loaded up with disappointments you can either live with or tough crap cause they ain't going away and they ain't gonna stop coming at you either.

Too many people out there really should be carrying tissue boxes in their bags.

i think it's great that you ran. no sarcasm. as far as the rest, i never asked you to kiss my ass. as far as ass kissing, i do notice you kind of grovel a bit and try to ingratiate yourself to posters you wish to manipulate against your self-perceived pond enemies.

how long til your next 'creamy hates us air post' out of thin air to a legacy us air finance academic? the kind that tells me that aa artificially inflated it's balance sheet prior to a chapter 11 filing? really profound stuff. he would have been better off just telling me that he is captain piedmont and not attempt to crap over aa..after presented with a painful truism: us air filed for bk twice in the early 2000s.

you guys want to run the board? no problem. those who want respect, give respect.

Eh. Meh.

That's ok. We at US look down too. At AA lol

Robbed I'm not sure if anyone has made you aware of this yet, so I feel that maybe it's my responsibility to let you know?

By overall percentage "so far" you have gained more from this merger, "so far" than I have. "So far"

Did I say "So far"?

Now please stop looking down on me. I do not have an Elephant Man head even if others have claimed I do.

"I am NOT an Animal"

lol :) naw not looking down on ya in my station id have to say its about even if not less more work less people the pay is good I do usually put in btwn 110 and 130 hrs every 2 weeks and some of the folks from AA do similar

Guess that is part of every merger. With the US Airways/ America West merger we were lucky that there weren't any physical assaults at one of my former stations. Verbal, yes, but no fisticuffs. There were a lot of hard feelings caused by decisions of people way over our pay level.

It might even out when we LUS have to go to the crappy AA medical plan .

And one can argue US might have gone out of business without Parker and team. Or one can say AW would still be making $14 an hour. But It's better to look ahead and see we are all doing pretty well, not perfect, but pretty well

So 120 hours every two weeks comes out to about what 95G per year ,not to shabby. Thanks Creme for letting us be part of AA

We didn't even dream about the present pay rate at America West. The US/HP merger was a financial boon in itself. Even at the wages after the US bk contract their payscale was filthy lucre. Unfortunately, there were a few cremes at that station who accused us of riding their coattails. Not a majority but a whiny, miserable minority.

Anyone at LUS who was pompous ass really should be humbled by now if they aren't he or she must be a real jacka$$ and not worth your time

albert mine are 90% swaps for part time in conjunction with my reg about 3 doubles a week and I typically work both my days off every other week unless I'm planning a trip then Id work 2 full weeks

28l/10R I have never seen fights either but ive known of pretty bad arguments that could of turned into brawls

I do wonder if Lakefield could of saved US at the time he was in command I don't doubt parker has done all to save but in my opin its all due to the low wages when compared to the other carriers

I am grateful at the fact we still have jobs after the nightmarish hell in the mid 2000s with ch11 two times and all that we lost

One thing about Parker going back to Day1 at America West is the man knows how to shake the money tree. From 9/11 and the subsequent government loan to today he has been able to squeeze blood out of a turnip. And shake that money tree. Give the man credit where credit is due. His predecessor, Bill Franke, couldn't have done the same. America West would've been sold in pieces if 9/11 would've happened under his watch.
