And I can see where there would be an Association conflict...AA has five Cargo stations they still work, many employees. US of course has a few catering stations (employees not sure) but I'm assuming neither want to lose them. Anyway, the Ass better not come back with either gone, that is a concession, and a huge one.

 That rumor probably started in a catering city. I agree with you, if they didn't take them in bankruptcy why now

They did want them all in our BK contract, but gave us those 5 and took other high seniority jobs in exchange I believe. But at one time, all were gone on the chopping block.
 
I will repeat it until I'm blue in the face, instead "rumors" and "reliable sources", have the Association update it's members with substance and not generic and hollow info. The rumors and other things do nothing but anger the members and question both the Association and authenticity of those reliable sources and rumors. If you have noticed, most info that has been released has been on the negative side. Waiting for a good rumor or update...

As far as jobs go with this contract the worse should be status quo

We still do both in my station but catering has been dwindled down to 1 flex flight/redeye PHX as LAA 738 replaced both out PHX flights

i think it's possible if not probable that we lose jobs but not heads. they will be absorbed. But i'm of the belief AA wants all senior jobs therefore forcing some to retire. I'm against any outsourcing of something we currently do.

What's amazing is in the last to video's of the State of the Airline and Town Hall, Mr. Isom and others said they have had terrible problems with their outsourced catering, "they can't get them motivated to do their job". Said it was a problem they had no answer for at this time and it was a HUGE issue.

Catering is staying. They may even pick some up elsewhere. Current cargo is fine.

That goes against negotiations 101 doesn't it. Unless there was more to it ,like integration. if you look at it we lose that way too

Parker hasnt been using negotiations 101. He tossed out the stew arbitration and instead gave then 12% more then added 9% hike then profit sharing.

It seems as if parker has been fair so i would think, to stay consistent, that we may sign the profit sharing and/or some money prior to a full ta.
