If he gave us the money and got us to integrate it would be the same as having a bankruptcy contact with the existing articles. $30.77 I wonder how a vote on something like that would go?WeAAsles said:Zero chance of Parker giving us the $$Money$$ without having all the other items in place.
I give the chance zero.
How would you vote on something like that Bob? if there was a interim vote? you could move to Organic cage free eggsbob@las-AA said:
And I can see where there would be an Association conflict...AA has five Cargo stations they still work, many employees. US of course has a few catering stations (employees not sure) but I'm assuming neither want to lose them. Anyway, the Ass better not come back with either gone, that is a concession, and a huge one.robbedagain said:Rumor mill we here are hearing is that in the few stations that has catering it stays. But company supposedly wants mail n freight gone
That rumor probably started in a catering city. I agree with you, if they didn't take them in bankruptcy why nowAANOTOK said:And I can see where there would be an Association conflict...AA has five Cargo stations they still work, many employees. By the way, the have already taken ALL of our mail.
As far as jobs go with this contract the worse should be status quoAANOTOK said:They did want them all in our BK contract, but gave us those 5 and took other high seniority jobs in exchange I believe. But at one time, all weregoneon the chopping block.
i think it's possible if not probable that we lose jobs but not heads. they will be absorbed. But i'm of the belief AA wants all senior jobs therefore forcing some to retire. I'm against any outsourcing of something we currently do.Worldport said:As far as jobs go with this contract the worse should be status quo
Catering is staying. They may even pick some up elsewhere. Current cargo is fine.robbedagain said:Rumor mill we here are hearing is that in the few stations that has catering it stays. But company supposedly wants mail n freight gone
Parker hasnt been using negotiations 101. He tossed out the stew arbitration and instead gave then 12% more then added 9% hike then profit sharing.Worldport said:That goes against negotiations 101 doesn't it. Unless there was more to it ,like integration. if you look at it we lose that way too
I was gonna say, I just spoke to my "reliable source" and he says Cargo and catering are not being discussed as "on there way out". Of course it's only as reliable as it from his mouth to my ears.Tim Nelson said:Catering is staying. They may even pick some up elsewhere. Current cargo is fine.
I believe your "reliable source" over Wikileaks, Deep therapy or any other "handle" it wants to go by.AANOTOK said:I was gonna say, I just spoke to my "reliable source" and he says Cargo and catering are not being discussed as "on there way out".
