In simplest terms, I stand on principle and put members first, so it would be impossible for them to graft me in. A light among darkness they dont want. Therefore, when they fire me, as they did again last month, it is the exact sorta thing we would expect from a group of self serving individuals. A TA really could be had in a few days, and they can say what they want but the company really is willing. I have to be careful not to put my ego ahead so i couldnt rule anything out for the members but i would be useless as a negotiation committee member and more effective doing the side bars with the company working everything out in extremely quick fashion.Other People said:I agree with you that these negotiations should have been very easy under the best environmental conditions, except for the constant mishandling from day one by the association. I think you would be a tremendous resource in negotiations, so why haven't they asked you to join them or have they? If I were in charge, I would have tried to bury the hatchet with you long ago. But for the members sake, I think you should be placed on the negotiation team. They could always fire you again afterwards if they see you as a political threat.
