First, when is "Me-Myself-and Josh" going to finally realize that he has been completely exposed? I guess denial is the word that could best describe it.

Tim I’m currently at the entranceway for JetBlue Rampers here in FLL Airport. WOW I’m getting cards signed like mad. All I’m telling these peeps is that you’re finished and were completely and utterly demolished in your Election run and that you will never have anything to do with them and again WOW what a reaction.

Tim you may actually be the absolute savior of the IAM?

Your complete and utterly humiliating defeat seems to have given renewed hope and paved the way to the future.

Overtime

Two Overtime lists - less than four hours (Early call-in and Holdover) and Four hours or more (Day off)
Crew Chiefs on separate lists - Different lists maintained for the various Duty Assignments
Less than four hours PT/FT combined - Separate Duty Assignments
Four hours or more (Overtime List) Offered to Full-Time first - Separate Duty Assignments
Paid Overtime Bypass.
Was told this was close to what was T/A'd
(I wasn't told, but gonna assume time and a half first day off, double time second day off)

Thoughts?

Whoever told you this is a good person to listen to.

Sounds to me like a good compromise between the TWU and IAM’s current contractual language.

Compromise is not going to always be popular but sometimes it’s the only way to keep the ball moving.

I didnt come to save the current corporate iam, i came to smash it down and build a better union. At this time, that means running for prez and im fairly certain my team will win.

Why would you assume double time only on second day off or do you also mean double time on regular days as well like it is suppose to be prior to bankrupt?
 
I am sure the IAM pension is a hot topic. Dwindling down to nothing for the membership. No over sight on the fund, a little dip in the funds here a little dip in the funds there. Oh gosh the fund is underperforming so we have to cut everyone’s benefits. Hell no we don’t want Fidelity to manage our fund! What will happen to Cousin Eddie who is running the fund now then?

Not sure what the intent was there..but it’s going to be better for either or both sides on any particular article. But a few thingsfor sure where the TWU members will benefit more substantially will be increased sick days... IAM has 9 TWU has 5 currently. If we go to 10 (or more) IAM would gain 1 ( or more) TWU gains 5 ( or more) Holidays are similar. IAM has 7 TWU has 5. Any increase would be same math formula as sick days. OT pay would be better for IAM with 2x after 12 hours on work day ( already have 2X after 8 hrs on first day off or all hours on 2nd day off provided you worked at least 4 hrs on 1st day off). TWU currently does not get 2x.

For us old timers many items that will be in the JCBA are items that we gave up in 2003. So they’re basically old loves returning.

But I will say that if true that no one goes to the bottom of the list on second day to get double time that would be an improvement over anything we’ve had in the past.

You would fall on the list wherever your equalization hours would place you. That is irregardless of 1st day, 2nd ( or 3rd day) at the appropriate OT premium rate.
