It is nice to know that they have worked hard for you all for over 2 YEARS now and we do have room for display cases and Fleet Service is now FLEET SERVICE. Why does LUS IAM have former TWA employees as representatives at the Grand Lodge and DL 142 but LAA TWU is all nAAtives? Sito’s career has been the IAM, not TWA/AA. When did he last work on a TWA aircraft?

I am sure the IAM promised you the same signing bonus too that they negotiated for UAL. I mean same Union did the negotiating for that contract so why would they sell you out on your signing bonus, right?

It is time to start thinking about 1 solid Union to represent the large work force. Only 1 union with 1 agenda, and not 2 unions with 2 separate agendas. No wonder it has taken an eternity and still nothing to show the membership.

1 union? While I have supported the Association, it seems as if our two union "Association" is being held hostage by another two union "Association" insomuch that there are now 6 entities, all of which are centered on MX. I have a problem with that, especially if this thing drags out for several more months even though fleet is complete. Holding fleet hostage to MX simply is not acceptable. But since none of our fleet negotiating committee are part of our Executive Negotiation Team, they have no juice and only the 2 MX negotiating on our behalf. This is where CLTrat and others simply don't understand the dynamics of negotiations. And this is where I blame Mr Baskett for his BS and lies claiming that he is a watchdog over LUS healthcare. The reality is that he prolly still doesn't have the info about fleet. My source isn't the sorta Fly that I can just call up and request info on how MX is going. But, if MX is stalled, then this will COST fleet leverage, especially as we approach section 6. Then it's all bets off. Sad.

The Nor'easter and the fact that it's spring break and the kids are out of school has caused a planned pause in negotiations. Toss in a few Union conventions that will hose us in April and May. Then you have opening day and the fantasy baseball draft for our negotiation committee.
