JCBA Negotiations and updates for AA Fleet

I heard he was calling around to Local Lodge breakrooms and whoever picked up the phone he asked if they wanted to run for a Union office.

He was hung up on a lot but he kept trying knowing there are always suckers out there.

I was asked to run by one of his surrogates. I said no (clearly)

Nothing wrong with that of course, but I can say that being an elected official at the local level (prior to losing representation) was one of the most rewarding things I’ve done.

I agree. I have no desire to seek any higher elected office than the one I have now. The best work gets done on the front lines.

regarding 141. That District Challenger slate is going to smoke the Klemm team in June.
The Challenger team at DL141 has far more qualifications than Klemm or the other management shills.

More importantly, 34 District 141 members rose up and stood against Weezel and others trying to steal our IAM Health care. Now, with a June election, it would be political suicide for the anti unionist in there now to give up our health care as they did with District 19 just last month. So sad.

And those qualifications would be...?

It’s not a game, and I’m not aloof. Not sure why you’re so upset.

The very core of organized labor is worker empowerment. Part of that is involvement. Like I said over on FB, we always say, “if you don’t like something, work to change it.” You can’t be surprised (or mad) when someone actually does.

But my original point here stands; the more time people spend chasing Tim, is that much less they can be campaigning. From what I see, the incumbents are trying to “bracket” him, and a lot of people are pissed that he’s not playing along.

This is all politics 101.

P.S. Whether you or I love him or hate him is irrelevant in this context. We don’t get to vote, anyway. Take a step back and see it for what it is.
He doesn't understand and neither do they of his support. It doesn't matter how many times you tell him. Yes, politics 101. Maybe I'll wait till the kiddy is up and the odds are bigger before I spoil their frustrations.

You have no interest in democracy! Your actions against those who dont agree with you are evidence enough of that.
My actions are consistent with everyone on democracy. Your rights were violated but I argued and won your rights for you as well. Just like my corporate campaign at United won an extra $1 per hour in your pocket. But you are blind and simply don't listen. Carry on!

As far as a fair election, the endorsement voting was engaged by members, not me. I secured the baton and passed it to the members and they responded. So, if you want to argue that members don't want democracy then argue with the 9 Locals and their Executive boards who already endorsed BABU, or the other 52 who are voting this Saturday.

tim,

You and I both know that nominations don't mean anything other than you secured a patsy to nominate your loser slate. It is, and always has been, the actual election. And in those elections, you and your team have been beaten repeatedly. History will once again prove that to be the case. But you can't see it because of your hatred. You can't see the rats are seeking people to vote for just them, not your entire slate. What does that say to you tim? It says to me that your loser team is in it only for themselves and not the members, if they can't stand with their chosen team. Isn't that what being a team player does, win or lose, stand by your team. But your team is only as strong as its weakest link, and sadly your team is all weak links. Both tickets, the GL ticket and the DL141 ticket. Both filled with losers and followers, not a leader among them. Unless you call rats trying to escape a sinking ship leading.

Wil Roach and other retired executive council members put out a statement in support of the establishment?

Well Tim did not get the endorsement of his own Local lodge President and Board. Oh well. I’m sure he’ll be on later to call this guy all sorts of names.

“IAM Local Lodge 1487 President Tony Licciardi supports the current IAM Executive Council's reelection.

LL1487 is one of the largest IAM locals in the country and is Tim’s local lodge. He does NOT have their support. Why? Because they know him best.

Tim has never been elected to a LL1487 Executive Board position and didn't even bother to vote for himself last year when LL1487 voted against him in huge numbers.”

I received calls from two people on the ticket who are running for AGC. Both said they are not running with Tim, and neither had very flattering things to say about him. Now whether it was because they wanted to keep up the illusion that the two tickets are separate, or they know they don' stand a chance in hell of winning if they hitch their star to ole Timmy-boy, it speaks volumes that they wouldn't even endorse him on a one on one call with me. I will say, however, that they both used the same language about "change" that Tim uses.

Your actions during this campaign show how little respect you have for democracy. And I doubt you did all that alone, if you were even involved as you say you are. We're a union...we do things together. All we hear from you is I did this and I did that. If I didn' know any better I would think I was talking to Trump. Or maybe I am...are you a Trump supporter as so many have speculated?

Tim isn’t a registered voter. He didn’t vote in the Presidential elections.

Huh? Local 1487 never voted against me in any huge numbers when I ran for office. In fact, the last time that I did run for office, it was on a District ticket in 2016 and I clobbered all the incumbents that were members at Local 1487 even though Tony endorsed the incumbents. I smoked them and my ballot won on all positions. Time will tell about the vote on Saturday but I think BABU is in good shape. I think the District challengers are also in good shape for Saturday at Local 1487.
I think I already capped one GVP Gruber. I'm not coming to play. It's really odd how the other side keeps making the exact same mistakes but I guess nobody can stop them for screwing members and raising their salaries. Can't fix stupid is what we say in America.

My question to you is why do you continue to violate the rules of this election and make your own Local's nomination void? You don't even know why do you? Maybe you should ask the IAM what I'm talking about, otherwise, Carry on!

(everything you posted has already been copied to pdf. You and other haters against our members will most likely be contacted by the DOL for rules violations.)
