The O’Driscolls, Roachs, Pantojas, etc that are/were part of the IAM establishment certainly made out well working for TWA and getting appointed/“elected” to top union positions. The rest of the membership who had their careers abruptly ended by the IAMs botched SLI, not so much. Did they go and visit the unemployed LLCers when they were in STL for AFL-CIO convention or was the focus as always on dues, politics, and organizing low wage gig economy workers?

No one cares about any of the stuff you make up here when IAM election season comes rolling along. Why don’t you start separate threads on all the crap you want to talk about?

TWU and Robert Crandall
That's what I thought. Thx for the confirmation. That is also why some on here reflect back over 30 years of concessions from the TWU. But I also know that US Air had at least a B scale if not a C scale as well. One of our past negotiators came from US and said they had it, and he will never vote for that to come here. I just do not know the year that US brought it into their contract.

Then vote where your mouth is the next time elections come up for these guys you talking and complaining about. If it's really that bad then the membership should easily vote them out, right?

So lead this pack of wayward souls to blog nirvana. Or does a cat got your tongue.
if you don't think some banker making his anti union statements for 5 pages is a waste maybe you're as big a DA as him.
stick to strip clubs and making asinine comments on how our contract is going to be

I don't think they will let a banker vote but then given the trouble they have had running a fair election maybe so

Don't forget, it's my contract too, and I will say this, seems like a lot of fist-pumpers and chest beaters bashing the union, association ect. SO what, this board is a conduit for free thinkers and free speech. I would never gravitate to a forum that is one sided, like the weez and your self and others. I love to take cheap shots across someone's proverbial bow. I do however, notice it does bother you, good! Whoever these people are, I hope they continue to offer delusional and misaligned opinions on how this JCBA will be finalized. They too are afforded the same privileges of this forum as you and I, even though it might be tasteless and in far left field. Now if you will excuse me, I must get back to the lap dance I ordered.

Remember when negotiations were going like this?
  • Week of April 25 in DCA
  • Week of May 9 in DCA
  • Week of May 16 in DFW
  • Week of May 23 in DFW
  • Week of June 13 in DFW
  • Week of June 20 in DCA
  • Week of June 27 in DFW
What the heck happened??

except he is a banker with a big bank and not an airline employee which makes him ineligible to vote plus he hates US and AA and he hates the unions in general

Robbed I’m not an IAM member but even if I could vote it’s not like the membership has much say given the IAMs structure. Plus the incumbents appear to be well schooled on using the bylaws to their advantage, like having people step down in the middle of a term so an appointee can be installed rather than subject to membership vote. Plus you know about all the DOL actions and such Tim has brought forth.
