Why should you lower your expectations? Do you actually READ anything I write or are you so skittish that you just jump when I try to put my hand on your head to pet you like an old abused dog?

I'm sorry that those people who used to be in the TWU beat you down so badly. It's very sad to read. I guess you're just always going to be skittish no matter how well you might be treated for the rest of your life?

Poor sad abused Mechanic you are.
Weez they are right get your license but it will have to wait until next Sept.Vaughn College (former College of Aeronautics) is full they are actually busing prisoners from Rikers over there to learn the trade. Must be costing the city a fortune. In the future the Coneheads are going to see a new component that's right an Ankle monitor. "Dang what the hell is that thing"By the way Coneheads if you have any questions about the IAMPF don't be afraid to ask....now that's trolling

You have brought it up many times and every time we tell you that is a non issue for us. Maybe it's an issue for you but you are not an AMT so it doesn't affect you. Yeah we have more AMTs per acft than others do but AA employs as many AMTs as they want to. They will keep as many AMTs as they want no matter how much or little they pay us. It is a non issue to us.
Old guy if you don't think AMT per aircraft isn't brought up in negotiations well you don't need to be an AMT just have common sense. It's probably one of the company's main issues, therefore should be a concern of yours. To be totally honest I.m surprised they haven't cut back bodies. Here at US we don't have half the auto and no building MTC

Hmmmm.......I have been off sick the last two days, I just checked my weekly attendance on JetNet and you won't believe what happened. I only got paid for half of the first sick day.

Is this the first you're hearing of this lovely concession? It's in the contract!!! :)

(d) Except as specified in Article 34(h)(1) and 34(h)(2), only days absent due to illness or injury of the employee which are not compensable under the applicable Workmen's Compensation Laws will be paid for from his allowed sick leave. On any single occurrence, provided the employee has sick leave available, up to the first eight (8) hours of absence will be paid at fifty percent (50%). For example, if the employee misses one (1) day, he would receive four (4) hours of SK and four (4) hours of SKU If the occurrence should extend beyond eight (8) hours of absence, all subsequent hours of sick leave within that occurrence will be paid at one hundred percent (100%) to the extent the employee has sick leave available

I feel you on that one Buck. I was lucky enough to make a trip to the ER in January. Emergency surgery, 3 days 2 nights in the hospital and 2 weeks off work. It's a real kick in the nuts getting docked pay while laying in the hospital.

when an inconvenient truth shows up the troll disappears for a few weeks, then he reappears like new!

Actually it would be silly to send them to Aviation school cause they wouldn't be able to work at an airport anyway.

you sir have potential with your problem solving skills you are ready to step up to a level 5 position in aircraft maintenance.

You already know the inconvenient truth about why that exists. Repeating it again for you I guess is a lesson in complete utter futility.
