JCBA Negotiations and updates for AA AMTS

Exactly.
Here's the rub, it was always going to end this way,
So why did they wait until they were a year into talks?
This could have been done a year ago.

I believe everyone would scream bloody murder if the Int just negotiated the agreement prior to giving the NC a chance to fail. Now the NC has had their chance, they have failed to strike a bargain, now is time for the Int to step in and the membership will applaud it.

This is going to be a replay of August when the sito and lombardo stepped in and cut the deal for the pay raise. They don't even have any weeks scheduled for negotiations other than the last week of Jan. Don't be surprised if sito and lombardo act like the knight in shining armor and we have a TA by the end of Jan. Like I said we saw a similar situation in Aug.

I think the company more than likely approached them in August. AA agreeing to give us the money before a JCBA is really unheard of

Come on guys. The company and union are in this scheme together. Always have been, always will be as we are too weak and timid to do anything about it. They're playing us for fools.

Anybody else find it a bit suspicious that the two leaders step in right after the new year?

The difference in mechanic per aircraft and the outsourcing language will have to be paid for. According to a TWU officer, UAL runs about 9000 per aircraft and 50% outsourcing to AA with 15,000 per aircraft and a contractual 35% outsourcing? I cannot come up with 15,000 here at AA unless that is every TWU member?
For the umteenth time..... AA also has more flight attendants per flight than anyone else. Do the FAs get less because of that? No they don't. In the end AA will employ as many AMTs as they choose to and they certainly will not pay us more for having less. Please stop pushing this mentality. We should not have to pay for anything. We have already paid in spades.

. Why should we pay,? because we always have. Where have you been? Why have we not had industry-leading wages and contracts? When did our contract ever bounce off of the FA's or Pilot's contracts? The mentality is that of the airlines. Every item has a cost and if they match wages look for something else to absorb that part of the pie. Why do we as mechanics no longer have this "Mechanics Contract"? The Association was allowed to run the show and now it is a Joint contract.

So let's say the Leadership does finish this off or had an agreement already prepared for the final big economic issues a few months back?

Is anyone going to really care if what they bring back is good?

Now let's say we get a TA and it comes back that SCOPE, Medical, Retirement and Wages are all crappy, then we would have something to piss and moan about right?

Not really worth arguing in the end we have the vote(hopefully) but it doesn't make the negotiation teams look good. Kind of like the state taking over a failing school district. So in the end the negotiation team was there for show, ok thanks Weasles I got it

Absolutely not. They have completed about 75% of the contract and a lot of that was VERY important items. Plus they've been at it over a year now so I just don't see the big whoop if now the Leaders jump in personally for maybe the finale.

Again especially if what comes back is good?

I stopped watching this website because of this idiot. He was on the pilot thread and hot spanked over there. What an idiot, dude stay on the fleet circus thread.
Good bye I'm off the website again, some fools never get the hint.

You stopped watching the website because you got a nice raise and it calmed you down.

Try being honest next time.
