It seems that I have to do training to fly mainland to, I don't know, but over the water somewere. Can someone pull up the Feb. sch. and see if 737's are indeed flying outside the continental US.
Thanks

No H.F. radios in the 737. Aux. tanks out. Just wondering where these are going.

Cancun I know for a fact, you don't need OW for all the flights to the Islands from FLL.

You can send 737s, as equipped, (and probably EMB170s) to Barbados if you're willing to take the extra time and fuel to follow the island chain. They just can't cross the middle of the Caribbean, or one very small spot in the Gulf of Mexico.

oh god i hope they are not sending to 37's to sju. i had enough of that back in the days doing lodo flts .

A quick look at the CLT 737 Jan pairings shows CLT-NAS-CLT and a couple of Sat only CLT-NAS-LGA flights.

You mean a B737 can't fly over the water?...Yikes!

We can go up to 162 miles from shore, but Latin America/Caribbean requires some special (or different) procedures so needs some additional training. That's part of our "learn at home" thru theHub.

Back in the day, we ran charters BOS-NAS in the DC-9. I did a bunch of them.
I am wondering that maybe some on from res. can pull up the Feb. sch. and see what a/c are going to the islands, or beyond.
