Is This The Last Round Of Concessions?

I wonder if this current round of cuts will be enough (If they all pass) for the airline to make a go of it or would more work rules, employees, benefits and wages still need to be axed after this. Does it ever end? Is this round of cuts being put to vote just enough to get them passed and then there will be more later. Best of luck to you all.

Funny because it's the sad truth.

Reading that article today in the Pittsburgh Trib sort of says exactly that.

At this point coming together would be a like a big pissing contest where everyone would walk away all wet with no change of clothes....

There will be no severance and the training offered airline workers by the government is a joke. I know because I am paying for my son's college education and it would pay one semester at a cheap college, so what the hell good is it!

Unfortunately, I think this answer is the closest to the truth. If UAIR doesn't make it with this round of concessions, there won't be a need for another round because the airline will no longer exist.

At some point, the money markets are going to snap to the idea that after 3 rounds of employee wage cuts and still no profits, maybe the employee wages aren't the problem. YA THINK!

If and when it comes to another vote, that's when the vote will fail miserably.
And those that voted are making a decent salary, I'd give anything to return to 18.00 per hour from 13.01 or in this case less,went form mainline to express almost 2 yrs come Jun 05.

Face it Golden, the feeding trough of the airline employees has become poisoned and the only ones left enjoying the riches are the very top dogs because their trough has not been tainted. Like the lovers of "self" love to say, start your own airline if you want to be rich like us, otherwise don't b-i-t-c-h and put your head back down into that trough.

The poll choices are ambiguous. I would really have liked to have voted for both choices because no more cuts are necessary, but that doesn't mean there will be no more.

The employees have broadcast loud and clear with their TA vote tallies that there is more to be taken from the employees. Management will be back for the rest whether they need it or not.
