IAM Withdraws NMB Election Application

now that there is a government body who is willing to get to the card fraud issue, sure.

but as I told you, they could care less about the IAM's survey being messed with although that might be entered into evidence along with how the IAM obtained DL FA employee numbers.

there are multiple investigations going on and all odds are that either the IAM produced the cards, or by my guess, a number of their DL and other airline employee supporters - which is why the IAM can act like it is surprised at what happened while DL is undoubtedly happy at the prospect that some of the pro-labor employees will get fingered by the DOJ and DL can find a reason to get rid of them, putting future organizing efforts well behind the 8 ball.

but by all means let us know the evidence you have to make the accusation that Delta Air Lines or any non-employee entity that receives any kind of compensation from them had any role in generating fraudulent cards.

the investigation can wait... the evidence to support your accusation is what we are looking for right now, Kevin.

Funny how some people are judge and jury already and they are the ones who dont support and investigation, and what they have in common is they are anti-worker and anti-union.

Yes, I'm all for the DOJ to concluding their investigation, and having the whole story see the light of day. It's an entirely reasonable request.
At the same time knowing deep down into your bitter soul, convinced the IAM (with a history of card fraud) are angels and DAL Is the devil and fabricated these cards, from the sweat and tears of small children.

All so that DAL could get one step closer to be unionized.

Or something stupid like that.

Those are some amazing scenarios you two have worked out. They're wrong, but don't let that stop you...

Again, it is completely reasonable to want a thorough investigation and any willful misconduct dealt with accordingly.

no, I am not judge and jury but I have yet to hear even the slightest rational reason why DL would have manipulated the card drive.

When people make accusations, they should come up with at least some evidence or a logical reason for their belief.

Kev,
help us understand the reasons why you are so quick to remove the IAM or its airline employee supporters from consideration and why you also are so willing to consider DL.

as 700 says, I think this is like the 13th request.

Completely agree with having an investigation but also know if the IAM is guilty of fraud, won't be the first time, 700 will be crushed. As it stands now , he flogs himself at the alter of the Grand Puba of the IAM, praying the outcome will not shed a negative light on his beloved IAM!

Amazing how determined a couple of you are to completely ignore what I've been writing lest your self-satisifed conclusions be upended.

Transparency/disclosure/accountability are all reasonable requests, and it's not unreasonable to expect them from all involved...

nowhere have a I ever said that I am against transparency.... I just find it hard to believe that DL will be found to have manipulated the card drive... and lest you think I am putting words in your mouth, you did say that was at least a possibility.

perhaps in 90 minutes or so, you'll feel better... maybe not.

There are many questions regarding last week's disappointing news, but the most asked is, “Is the IAM ending its campaign?”

The short answer is NO!

From the very beginning, the IAM pledged that this campaign belongs to Delta Flight Attendants and you have overwhelmingly indicated that you want us to continue and help attain your ultimate goal of collective bargaining rights at Delta Air Lines.

The IAM will continue this campaign—even stronger—and will double our efforts to reach our shared goal. End the campaign? We aren’t even going to slow down.

Visibility continues, organizers remain active, IAM Delta Base Leads continue to order materials: The IAM is ALL-IN. The IAM has committed considerable resources to help your effort, and that will not change.

The IAM is still in the process of having our questions answered—which there are many—and we will communicate to every single Delta Flight Attendant when we have the answers to give them. We have communicated frequently and honestly throughout this campaign, and that too will not change.

The IAM is 100 percent committed to this campaign and will remain so until Delta Flight Attendants gain the collective bargaining rights you so deserve.

Thank you for your patience, commitment and solidarity.

So  much for this prophecy:

I hate to break it to you, Kevin, but there won't be an investigation unless it is an inhouse IAM investigation to figure out how they were set up to fail by their own team and why it wasn't caught.

yes, there will be an investigation.

It just won't answer ALL of the questions because the NMB doesn't care about a number of other elements of this case such as who accessed DL's computer systems or messed with the IAM's survey.

Kev seemed as interested as things as other things and I would strongly bet that they won't be addressed by the DOJ investigation.
