IAM Pension Fund

And I was an IAM member for 20 years and an airline employee for over 20 years.

Can you say the same?

Allow me to answer this one.  Hell NO!!!  And thank god I cannot say that I have been an IAM union card holder for over 20 years.  Do tell how many times that funds and or payouts have been reduced or cut in the IAM pensions over their entire life.  Very proud to say I do not hold an IAM union card...

Only roabilly, retirees, and non IAM members are advocates of an "IAMPF Only" retirement.  Roa is really a nice guy but he must protect his interest and he is fearful that if the members are allowed their own choice that many of us would take the wise approach and not put everything in one basket if we had the chance.

Nelson, you are full of s***! My pension will NOT be affected either way, I’m locked in where I am regardless if it’s continued as company match or not!

Why don’t you tell them about the years that you criticized the IAM for NOT advocating for a pension? You even sent Pruitt to the Local to confront AGC Moore about this. You also printed articles in your “Big Picture” publication calling-out the union for not securing a pension like the MX side had... remembered? I do!

You are a hypocrite!

So why are you so much against us having choices or having the company put a portion of its contribution in our 401k?  Why the hate?

Because I feel the same way I did in the 80's and 90's... defined benefit pensions are superior to Supplemental plans... I will NEVER change my mind on that. I WILL always voice my opinion on it... like it or not!

So just like how the small stations were sold out for a few hundred catering jobs at CLT & PHL? It's not only about you.

a lot of "I"s there.  Shameful.  Even though you want the deficient defined benefit restrictions that severely limit future financial growth, you should at least agree with Tim that it isn't about you, or your opinion, but it's about everyone having opportunity and choice.  That's where you lose me roabily, you try to force your opinion on all of your coworkers, then you refuse to claim that the IAMPF could be in jeopardy a 3rd time.

Roabily never worked a day in his life. Always loafed in the back. Nothing more than a internet blowhard.  Hopefully, the TWU leaders see through his game and the IAMPF, and bargain for choice.   Even non union Delta has a far superior retirement than us us air members. It's simple math.  7.5% on top of total earnings, or 5% on only 40 hours. Worse for part time, only 3% plus another credit reduction.  Not sure why Roabily wants to continue inflicting such pain on his coworkers, but then again, he has always been about himself.

I'm looking forward to Tim's educational IAMPF video.  Someone needs to explain to the TWU members, and other airline workers, the traps and scandals of the IAMPF.

Roa doesn't seem to care about the choices and interest of others onky keeping IAMNPF and catering.

Josh
