The calm before the storm
After the storm can we all work as one group for the group as ONE IE. (UNION BROTHERS TEAMSTERS 104) B)

We are not the other parts of any organizations - you need to give up holding the airline employees responsible for what the truckers do - just doesn't work and you are loosing respect - all we are concerned about is the behavior within our group - what happened was very wrong and the IAM would do wise to distance themselfs and stop trying to condone violence. Just doesn't fly in our industry.

.....No...violence is not a solution unless your life or family is threatened.

You should be more specific about your information. In the airlines industry there has been XXX number of violent actions taken against another union........

The IAM has taken it upon it's self to set an example of how they are not a "true unionist" organization. This is really confusing.....since the IAM has stated that it is a "True Unionist" organization. It doesn't seem so now does it.

Just another example of the IAM talking out of "both" sides of its mouth......it's not enough that the IAM treats it's members so badly now it has taken to treating other unions that way too. When the going gets tough then the IAM throws chairs and gang bangs other union representatives when they have gathered in a small group. Shame on you IAM..... :)

splitting hairs now? you have identified yourself as a member of the teamsters union.....
when I say Machinists Union, most think of a guy turning a lathe...

don't as a matter of fact....union violence is union violence no matter what and reflects on us as a whole.

the IAM would do wise to distance themselfs and stop trying to condone violence.

they are not condoning violence by any means.those members are entitled to equal, just representation no matter who thinks what on this board including you.and no matter what has been posted here in this forum, they are innocent until proven guilty.

you are loosing respect

from some of things you've posted on these boards and claims you've made in favor of IBT,I think you should be the one concerned with losing respect....especially after claims of being a neg committee member and throwing the 22 under the bus....semper fi...

I have talked to one of the people that was there on the TWU side face to face - I choose to believe him - I stand by my position on the 22 EX-employees

WE ARE TEAMSTERS 104 GET THE DIRT THERE..???????
IF YOU CAN!!!
We Are Professional Mechanics At Teamsters 104.
And we are looking at the IAM as Professional Mechanics Union(WHAT A JOKE). (We as Teamsters have a lot more BROTHERS that deal with OTHER issues in life as truckers, stock persons, dairy workers and so on.)
So what do you want us to do, MORE PAY CUTS AND PAY FREZZES. No WE WILL FIGHT FOR OUR UNION AND A BETTER LIFE FOR OUR BROTHERS.

WHAT IS THE iam FIGHTING FOR ....(DUES TILL 2009 and later) LOL.

NMB is considering both the IAM and IBT postion on the stock clerk issue. I wouldn't bet the house on the outcome either way. Funny how they just didn't decide the issue based on "precedent" which the IAM'ers were so sure of. Looks like we are moving into uncharted terror tory doesn't it? No need to fear the unkown though. Sun will come up tomorrow...guarenteed ;)

LOL it was ratified in 1998...CBA's dont exspire.. they become ammendable.

And screw those 22... They knew what they were doing, and they should have thought it out..

If AMF came out to orginize and 22 IBT's rough'd them up I would say the same thing..

They are checking signatures along with considering the stock clerks in or out. The "unchartered melodrama" was meant sarcastically for the poster(s) who claimed "precedent" would rule the day. ;)
