I have to agree with some here. I would be upset, yet not surprised at someone posting about an event and overheard conversations.
I would expect your client base from the political arena to rapidly dwindle after posting what you did.
Poor career choice/move if you are trying to cater to that type of client.

And I'll also add that even tho it was a private event, it is literally impossible to try and keep things like this from seeping into the media.

So either it hasn't hit the news wires yet or our resident liar is full of you know what.

I'll tell one you one thing smart guy, this is a second career for me and I can pretty much guarantee you I've been more catered events than you've ever worked.
If you keep putting in public forums things you overhear at private events you'll be working a lot less of them

I never thought I'd see a contest for POTUS where the leading candidates  for both sides for disliked by so many

Haven't seen anything for any of the three GOP candidates, either, but I live in a very blue part of the state.

Bernie ones are everywhere.

even when the primary was here in NC, I didn't see very many at all maybe a few Cruz ones but that was about it.
There was a Trump rally near my house and without a cousin complaining about it on FB I would have never even known

There were some yard signs for the local races, county board state house that sort of thing,
One thing however I got swamped with was mail flyers, one guy sent one like every other day.
 
The only Potus candidate represented at my polling site was Cruz. on face value it seems his camp is more organized than any nation wide
