Actually all Captain slots have been filled by APL pilots and there are 80 to be released between now and September from MESA who have a MDA preference.

Scope didn't kill US Airways. 16 Years of bad managent from Schofied bungling the mergers, through Wolf & Gangwall's package and sell, to Super Dave's "shrink to fit" regimes have tanked US Airways.

BTW, what do you mean there are Capt slots for MESA pilots who have a MDA preference? I thought CEL only consisted of wholly owened pilots from PSA and PDT/ Allegany.

That's what I thought, but wasn't sure. I guess they just have to wait for the one year training lock to lift. Every J4J CA I fly with at PSA is waiting for their one year to be up and they can go to MDA.

Heck, if were on the APL I'd go to MDA even as an FO just to get as far away from PSA as possible. Really you guys, forget the stupid slotted bidding crap and go to a nice airline
