Gun Threads - Merged

Dude meant to shoot his friend in the face?

Just the kind of "protection" one needs in a movie theater attack... ;)

Ya' got an excuse for everything.
Do you have some evidence that the multipke incidents of police shooting bystanders are these inexperienced lowered standards Minoritues hired by Dems, or did you just make that up?

There are lots of Irish cops in NYC too, and The Irish are a minority.

You Sayin' we shouldn't hire minorities as cops?

Should they be allowed concealed carry permits?

Who is going to be the good guy with a gun in minority frequnted businesses and neighborhoods if we don't?

Keep propping up your straw men

They keep going up in flames

I actually think there is a small chance that exactly the right armed good guy under the exact right circumstances and having a really good day might do some good in one of these attacks. Usually when it has, it has been an off-duty LEO, and/but they are trained in using their weapons in those situations.

Are we to believe thst the aberage Jill or Joe who has been to CHL class and the range every now and then is really orepared and ready for a gunfight in a dark theater? Or outdoors at the next PP attack?

Could be.

More likely not to be.

Yes......Yes....Yes......

Many fine examples of relaxed civil service requirements to achieve 'diversity' all across the fruited plain and the legal issues these moves have warranted.

You're pretty good at finding old articles, have at it.

Even if you are right, and you offer no evidence that you are

Those NYC performed poorly because of relaxed selection and training standards.

They did, however, at least make it through cop school, including the firearms training.

But, your (collective...) position is that anyone who can make it thru a chl class is fully qualified to be the next local hero, stage a funfight in a dark theater or crowded mall or down the local Planned Parenthood, and nothing will ever go wrong...

Interestingly flawed reasoning

Or as simple as an Uber driver stop a mass shooting. As well as all the others. That actually happened.

But hey, don't let those facts get in the way of your ever flawed useless liberal diatribes and narratives.

You think for a minute if they are relaxing civil service standards, the police academy and firing regs wouldn't fall under pressure also?

You just admitted the whole system is flawed.

You're pretty good at finding old articles, have at it.

So you sit there on your collective butt and wait for the one between the eyes.

LOL

Seriuously Dude,

You claim the standards were relaxed, and blame Bloomberg/Blasio

Yet offer no proof, or even a shred of evidence

You claim I admitted the system is flawed

That was your still unsupported claim.

And then make up that I am just sitting somewhere waiting

Welcome to the Giant Flaming Strw Man Festival of Deflection

I really just posted those in fun

You claim that any average Joe who happens to go to a weekend chl class at Billy Bob's emu ranch and gun range is somehow prepared to reatore order in a mass shooting event

Even IF standards were relaxed, Even IF the training was relaxed, Thise NYC cops actually got some training, in exactly the situation they were faced with.

Their "mistake" you blame on lowered minority hiring standards, and simultaneously claim that any old anybody with no training is the answer to mass shootings in public places.

That is some seriously flawed logic, and your posts are mere deflection, devoid of logic.

I'm not against folks carrying. There are instances when it works out well. Then there are the instances when it doesn't.

That is real world reality, not some left vs right or DEM vs REP political football.

Hell, if guns don't kill people, why are so many people concerned with being able to carry their guns around with them in order to defend themselves?

Isn't the whole idea was to be able to kill the bad guys (with the gun...) before they kill the good guys?

Using that logic, we should repeal all laws, since people break them anyway

ifly2: Are you going to maintain that the stereotypes and behaviors you post as some sort of Great Truth or Poignant Witty Point have any validity, ............?

Simple observation gives lie to the "programming" you succombed to, and then spread.

Umm...Should we discuss mindless mantras and infantile stereotyping a bit further? ;)

The Bottom Line here:

ifly2: "I was not trained to fight" (and can even imagine "street fights" and a few bruises to be other than laughably noteworthy)...yet you (like any standard-issue-liberal) can always be counted on to purely fantasize yourself somehow an expert regardless.
