Just wondering when Bob will stop playing all sides. He is paid half by AA, and half by the TWU but actively supports the ideals of AMFA. Talk about conflicted.

Silly me, I thought I was supposed to represent the interests of the members.

Yes, a majority of 25% of the line membership voted in Bob. Hardly a mandate. More a reflection of the apathy of the silent majority on how the TWU Int'l is not giving us leadership from the top. Maybe GP's letter to Lombardo will get him to realize the AMFA guys are really running 591 in to the ground to drive members to want out of the TWU. 591 seems like they are purposefully mismanaging the local, bad mouthing the CBA, and misinforming the membership to make the TWU look bad.
Mismanaging? How so? Our Treasury has doubled in a year, show us any other Local that has done that.

I think Harry is a big improvement over Little, IMO his response to Santos was inappropriate, he's human, has a temper, move on.

By the way when I was elected in that low turnout election Little, Videtich etc were in charge, so I guess it was their poor leadership that was driving the Apathy you mentioned. Somehow $4000 was acquired to pay for campaign literature for Dons hand picked teAAm to be sent to each members home, but they still didn't vote in TeAAm Videtich.

While Apathy is still a problem the fact is with the Online voting we have had record numbers of people voting on motions.

As for the CBA, even Parker doesn't refute that its the worst in the industry from a workers perspective.

And he knows he can get away with it because of the past history of the TWU being so lame. More will be coming. Watch our benefits get eroded over time. If one would take the time to see what benefits or lack of USAir has expect the same at AA. The company will take the lowest cost benefit and apply it across the board to both sides. If your in denial then pay attention to what already has been going on at AA.

Sadly AA unions and many employees believe these clowns would give them the sun and the moon and the stars.

Doug never gave you a straight answer and just dumped a bunch of spin on how AA/US is bound by the RLA, the NMB is involved in the process, they are working towards JCBAs, etc.  I'm glad you asked him the questions and attended the meeting.  USAIR treated their own employees like dirt its mind boggling the AA employees and unions believe they will be any better, but I'm glad you have seen through it all along.

Maybe Doug didn't give the answer because it wasn't the right time or place?...

What's even more "sadly" is you continue to post...

Bob the only reason the 591 treasury is so high is that most officer wages are paid for by AA under scams the officers and reps work out with the MD's and station managers they are scamming with. AMFA in MIA has stated numerous times that the union reps there are never on the field yet are paid for by AA. In DFW where are our reps? Hiding out in their office in the training building while getting paid by AA. I hear it is the same in ORD and LAX as well. Stop trying to act like you are a financial whiz kid. You aren't. You just worked the same scam that you once called hush money.

I have yet to see Lombardo do anything. GP's letter circulating on the field says as much. Are you and GP in disagreement on the Int'l? You sound like you are bucking for an Int'l job now saying that we should all move on. GP doesn't sound like he is moving on? Do you have his back? Is the board split? Are you looking to get GP removed so you can be President?

When will it ever end? When is the AMFA vote??

I believe that graphic for Obama is not correct.

National debt at the end of the fiscal quarter 2008 (October)  $10.025B.  The end of 2011 $14.790B the end of 2013 $16.738B.  Current debt level $17.555B.

Even without the Durst LOA we would have doubled the treasury.

Your bitterness has manifested into pettiness, and its pretty pathetic.

You should be basking in your victory, you got the contract you wanted, problem is you wanted this deal but not for you. You hitched your wagon to the big man and when he got unhitched, you got unhitched, fortunately for him he got far enough down the road where he will never have to work under the deal he championed, as long as he can stretch his cash option from the TWU pension to 55 or get a "settlement" to carry him to when he can get his AA pension"based on the rate reported by the union", no big deal; taking the 15% hit when your pension is based on a $150 k wage. Hey as long as he is gone and unable to do more damage I'm good. Unfortunately for you you don't get the TWU pension, and your AA pension will be based on the lower wage you helped put in place. The big man took good care of himself, and left you out to dry, but instead of being mad at him, you are mad at everyone else. Typical, not enough of a man to face your real nemesis so you hide behind an alias and try and stir up a scandal where nobody is listening. Lombardo didn't screw you, you made your choice, I'm willing to give him and the new team some time, but then again I'm not the one being queried by the members.

I recall how back when all the Presidents had to start punching a clock you were so disappointed that not one of us complained about it. As often as possible, no matter what the topic of the thread you would bring it up hoping for a response. Then it was our salaries, still pull that one up, like I said, don't like it make a motion to change it. You don't complain about the fact you didn't get to vote on going into one local or the bylaws, only ever complain about the salaries you didn't vote on. Now its UB, getting nowhere with any of that you are moving towards trying to start trouble within the board. Do I have Gary's back? YES. Do we agree on everything? No. Looking to have Gary removed so I can have the job? Heard the rumor already, not interested, even with the $2.5K/month salary you are obsessed with I'm not moving to Dallas. My wife is the main breadwinner now, earning around $8//hr more than I, even switched to her medical and dropped coverage at AA.

Now back on topic.
Ok on one thread we have you supporting managements decision to remove Inspectors and on this one defending Parker. So in other words nothing has changed except that now you aren't hiding behind the International in your support of management.
