Vaughn Cordle is amusing -- notice how he keeps referring to how the pilots would fare in a merger but neglects to discuss the perfect storm of three pilots' groups collinding (AA, AWA & USair) in his goofy merger scenarios.

These self-styled 'analysts' must stir the pot with these silly blogs. Cordle is the poster-child for that group.

AA stakeholders, especially the pilots, should start thinking about what happens next in a bankruptcy scenario.

None of us want to play this game anymore, but I think this article is on the mark ..... A year from now one of us needs to find this tread and bump it to the top .... and see who was right.

Actually, AA will likely never merge with the tempe trailer park. I have quite a few friends remaining who tell me they would much rather fly with professionals than the scabs from the west. But, hey. make up anything you want.

If I had to pull gear for someone, I'd do it for a professional, though, pulling gear for a tempe dude could be entertaining.
