Furloughs

QUESTION, in a station with a club can a FT, SR, furloughed ticket counter CSA bump a PT, JR, CSA in the club at that location with her seniority?

Is there a part-timer jr to the displace fulltime employee in there classification

Why are we not hearing for CWA LEADERSHIP?
WHY ABOUT VOLUNTARY FURLOUGH

John John.....

What about the voluntary furlough?

Remember the last CWA leadership in both BK 1 & 2 ?" "Radify the tennative conncessions or you will get worse in BK court." WOW we all voted YES and laughed at the IAM saying "they were fools and would get raped" in Bankruptsy court for not negotiating! They now have a pension worth over $2,000 a month with 25 years and are for the time being not subject to the astronomical medical raises every other employee is subject too? What do CWA reprented employees have? a 401K! Express employees have better medical!

Remember the over 7,000 grievences thrown out to get the West employees into the CWA without negotiations?

Remember the "snap backs" CWA Airways employees were to get right after the merger that was " per the contract?" (The exact verbiage was "in the event of a merger all payscales would snap back to original rates.")
GONE!

With all do respect the local 338 at Walbaums (Supermarket) has better representation then this joke of a union that does not reqiure a vote on any ratifications to the contract and "just signs off!"

LGA,

I don't know where you got that info from. We have only been in the iam for about 5 years. You only get a pension for the amount of years that you have been in the iam, not all of the years you have in seniority. If what you said was true, I would retire yesterday!

Article 4 Classifications

Passenger Service consists of the classification groups of Customer Service,
Customer Assistance (CAR), US Airways Clubs, City Ticket Office (CTO),
Reservations and Mainline Express Customer Service.

Within the Customer Service Group and Mainline Express Customer Service groups, there are two
classifications, Customer Service Agent and Customer Service Supervisor
(including CSS Tower and CSS Training Instructor), and within the CTO
group there are two classifications, CTO agent and CTO Lead Agent. All
other groups contain a single classification of representative.

Here's my interpretation. But I still can't figure out if a furloughed, senior, full time, ticket counter agent can bump a junior part time club agent at that location. Are club agents CSA's?

Passenger Service Groups (4)

a-Customer Service
b-Customer Assistance
c-US Airways Clubs
d-City Ticket Office

With in Passenger Service Groups there are classifications

Customer Service Group (airport agents)
a-Customer Service Agent class
b-Customer Service Supervisor class

City Ticket Office Group
a-CTO agent class
b-CTO Lead Agent class

Nothing on US Airways Club Group? Or Club agent classifications?

Reduction Language

c. Full-time employees who have completed their probationary
period, but do not have sufficient seniority to hold a full-time
position in the classification and location, will be covered by:
1) the System Displacement Rules, and/or
2) be permitted to bid, in seniority order, available part-time
positions within their classification at their location, and, if
there are insufficient part-time vacancies within their
classification at their location, to displace the most junior
part-time employee within their classification
at their
location provided they have more seniority than the part
time employee;
