Once again look at the amount of fuel burned

DL was over 1000

aA was under 1000 sorry you struggle to do math DL is 12% less fuel efficient
No, you're including the regional airlines' fuel for Delta and omitting the regional airlines' fuel for AA.

On a consolidated basis (mainline and regional combined), AA consumed 1,130,000,000 gal in the 3rd quarter while DL consumed 1,067,000,000 gal. AA flew more ASMs than DL, and burned more fuel doing so. The mainline carrier is almost always responsible for buying the fuel used by the contract regionals.

I told him a long time ago that he needed to spend time with someone who can read financial statements and recommended that it be you.

You're joking, right? YOU of all people talking about brainwashing? What do you consider yourself?
The pot calling the kettle black.

the one in which you learned to make up numbers that aren't in financial statements or the one in which you are brainwashed into celebrating the success of a company that has made its employees WORSE OFF relative to their peers?

Which employees are more likely to be brainwashed?

Did you sign the petition?

Well at least we have a lot more Freedom to speak than employees of Delta.

Please tell us what was so bad about what this guy said?

Interesting read here:

"At current prices, Southwest says it expects to keep only about 80 cents of savings for every $1 in oil price decline, while Delta puts this figure at about 65 cents. American instead will reap the full benefit of cheap fuel."

That is not possible - wait I"m sure we will hear how the analyst got this wrong and the arm chair analysts knows better

You missed the statement about how hard it is for analysts to know the outcome of hedge positions

and you also have yet too explain how AA's operating profit margin guidance is lower than DL's

We got the explanation - see analysts can't predict the impacts of hedging however retired cheerleaders can

and you have failed to see how its gonna hurt your preciously beloved wiget airline more than it will AA  bec AA did not hedge they'll reap the benes more so than that atl based wiget air
