I'm sure someone could post a East and West seniority list to get us more involved.
Without the proper information how can anyone make a decision ?

Now maybe tony could help us out on this one....

Dont ask Tony, PHL was left out of that committee

Try these people

Members of the Seniority Integration Committee are:

Nate Gushi - USA - LAX
Vinny Capitani - USA - TPA
Larry Sano - USA - CLP - PIT
Pat Rezler - AW - PHX
Steve Willis - AW - LAS
Ed Turner - AW - LAX

Grand Lodge reps. are Rich Johnson and Tom Regan.

Crazy isn't it? 40% of the total workforce are in CLT and PHL
and neither are represented.

There is nothing you can do, seniority was set by the company before you became unionized and agreed to by yourself and fellow fleet service when you ratified your CBA.

Set by the company ?

I guess you don't remember the PPG?

That detailed your seniority.

So let me ask you this, if another employee worked in another department and then came to the ramp, do you want the person to have DOH or date of classification?

Say that person has a better higher date, but you have been on the ramp longer and been paying union dues and that person was in a non-union position.

Art.7 G Seniority
Only if a " Shift manager within the Customer Service group shall retain but not accrue all previous fleet service classification and pay seniority. These employees will be eligible to utilize all retained classification seniority to return to the bargaining unit in the event of a reduction in force"
Ask tony if mr boland was a shift manager in PHL

Also add to the fact that at some point the iam has gone doh for new F/S agents

700,

What you are saying is what is being proposed. Non-contract employees will be integrated at hire date with no union time.
Also, you must remember that customer service was given adjusted time like we were at the fence agreement.
When CWA negotiated their contract, it went to date of hire despite the PPG.

There are 1000's of us that have only worked on the ramp, and we do not go by DOH. And then there are those that have only worked on the ramp and they do go by DOH. Do you think that is fair 700? In a union what is fair for one, should and has to be fair for all. If it isn't, what good is a union?

CWA had a lot of staple pullers and management that kept all their seniority for passenger service they came running to the agent group before the door was shut. Management tried like hell to kept the door open during negotiations and not allow a fence. CWA negotiated and close the door for management and administration.. A lot of agents dislike the fact that the 9-5 weekends holidays off bunch came and with seniority and took their shift without paying their dues (both kinds)

Cwa didn't negotiate DOH for passenger service. When the ramp was suckered into voting in a union, wolfe gave passenger service their DOH. That was their reward for not voting in a union. Adjusted seniority was the ramps punishment for voting in a union.

Yep management though it would help in keeping the union off the property one big happy non-union work force confusing the NMB and allowing management to vote. It backfired.

Yes it did backfire. Now if you are passenger service you have your rightful seniority. There are no junior agents ahead of you, like we have on the ramp. Hopefully as the organizing gets underway, the iam will realize that they had better start appeasing the ramp with the things that they can do without going into negotiations with the company.
