I've flewn with a f/a based in IDF and basically, what he told me about what's going on with our treaserer is a slap on a wrist(professional standard). How amazing! I feel that this was PAST professional standard and she should resign as a treasurer of AAPFA and be terminated for what she's done. If it would have been one of us, we'd be terminated immediately. That tells me that AAPFA is in cahoots with the company. I'm very scared for the future..:(

If it were all true she should be let go and should have to give up her position at APFA. But since you base your desire to see here fired on simply information from another flight attendant, that's crap.

Everyone deserves due process. Only those who were there know the real story, only the union reps and the managers get to see the paper work and judge the situation and punishment.

You are convicting someone on second hand or worse information. I hope you never have to defend yourself against someone like you.

I was in ORD on 8JUL around noon and who did I see in OPERATIONS laughing and having a good time? None other than Ms. Leukensmeyer (sic), THB and our IOR Vice Chair Mr. M. Meyer. Maybe they were having a meeting or something about her behavior. Not sure as there were no announced APFA events scheduled. I.E. Reps in OPS day. Although, I am sure those people wouldn't have shown up for that anyway. I hope if it is true, that she doesn't get "let off". That wouldn't be right.

IORFA,

She deserves a fair trial like everyone else in the USA.

I have my own opinion about how this possibly played out but she deserves a fair trial.

For fairness, I've had her on a DOM flight, she was fine.

I'm sorry, I think politics are so involved, it's scary.

I will not stand for someone being maligned for political gain.

I will also not stand for this being swept under the rug.

If she did this, the crew totally deserves an apology.

I have nothing to lose, I'm junior and based in SLT...LOL!

I still would like to know what is happening with Ms. Lukensmeyer. As usual this is what you call a Union? These issues are swept under the APFA carpet.

And this lady is handling your dues? Give me a break.

BTW, I voted for this slate.

Disclaimer: This is pure rumor and I am not trying to propagate this rumor at all.

Can anyone else tell me if they've heard that the APFA has spent a huge amount of money to redecorate APFA HDQ? I've heard it was something like 20,000 dollars. I've sent a letter to her but haven't heard back.

I was just down there for a base meeting and everything looks the same. The decor of APFA is actually rather plain. The halls are decorated with APFA and AA paraphanalia and the like. They have old AA ads, and copies of headlines from the strike, pictures of members who have been awarded things, etc. etc.

I am guessing it is just a rumor.

The truth of the matter here is that this issue is being investigated by AA (31R) and within this investigation ALL PARTIES ARE BOUND BY CONFIDENTIALITY. The rumor mill and petty slap shots will by no doubt continue-just keep in mind the due process we ALL are afforded in this situatuion and hold out for the facts when they become avbl...

Yea people who are not over blown reactionaries, people who believe in due process can be a real downer in your upside down world.
Let hope for your sake you never have to deal with someone like yourself in a situation, emergency or disciplinary.

It has now been a day and a half since I sent the email. No response, as yet. I'm afraid that this silence lends credence to the story. I also posted an inquiry on an AA f/a bulletin board. Another member of that bulletin board posted that he had spoken with 4 f/as who had worked the flight in question, including the purser. According to the poster, 99% of the story is true.

I've sent an email to THB in regards to the incident involving our treasurer, but the response I've received from her didn't mention anything about what I inquired. Only thing she said was that it was indeed a "professional standard" matter. I just don't understand how could this be a "professional standard" matter since she was using a company previledged benefit and on a personal travel getting intoxicated, assaulted a flight attendant and caused level 2 threat? If it would have been one of us, we'd be fired, jailed and still being jailed awaiting for arraignment on federal charges. I've written her another email, but haven't received anything from her yet.

Since you don't like me and anything I have to say, why don't you just leave me alone and stop attacking and harassing me? Obviously, you're not a nice person and I don't care to talk to you.

I do my job unlike most people I work with, so I don't have to worry about that. Obviously, you haven't read the report from the purser on that flight. Perhaps, that report is a fabrication too?

Hey, are you happened to be a SCAB? Because you're very nasty, judgmental and negative. You don't even know me. If anyone has a upside down world, that would be you!
