Obama is quite fallible as I have stated often not that you would bother to read anything much less comprehend it. The fact that you are a pilot is concerning. I don't fly that often so my odds of being on a plane that you are flying are low. Personally I do not think you are that stable. I think if the FAA saw some of your rambling posts they might think twice about your certifications. Then again it seems like most pilots have your mentality so perhaps not.EastUS1 said:
Well, my senior home's still the captain's chair of a commercial jetliner, so you're unknowingly committing a bit of overt heresy here, in that you're expressing wholesale contempt for the continuing certification standards of the very same government that you so mindlessly worship. Sigh!...Since I don't see any Kommissar nearby, maybe we all should let you slide on your momentary blasphemy. We all know that you would be the very last person to ever even suggest the "messiah" and his administrative minions to be at all fallible in any way, after all...Right? Umm...btw; when's the last time YOU were "properly" certified by agents of the government to be both competent and healthy?....Ever?

Just curious, is being a pompous self absorbed arrogant ass required training to be a pilot or were these elective courses you took for extra credit.
Does state government count? Not that it matters as most jobs do not require certifications of any type and I do not look down on people because of their job.

1) "Personally I do not think you are that stable. I think if the FAA saw some of your rambling posts they might think twice about your certifications. Then again it seems like most pilots have your mentality so perhaps not." Try to at least make up what only laughably passes for your "mind." Oh, and DO see if you can convince some "moderator" at the FAA to share your enlightened and expert opinion at your earliest convenience Herr Doktor Kommissar. "Then again it seems like most pilots have your mentality..." I hate to break it to you, but that's actually not such a bad thing for the folks trusting their lives to us aloft...despite your expected proclivities as a devout "leftie" to fantasize yourself the best "qualifed" to magically "know" how all others "should" think, and what's "best for them" of course.
2) "Just curious, is being a pompous self absorbed arrogant ass required training to be a pilot..." Not an absolute job requirment, but your type of passive-aggressive, waffling timidity's certainly ill-suited to the task. Your strange sort of mental defectives always fantasize the presence of some entirely external, and much greater agency than yourselves to somehow "save" you. I never heard of anyone having any good luck with such childish insanity in the sky....no more than that "mind"set would ever help on an average highway, for that matter.
3) "Does state government count?" Forgive my earlier disparagings, as I'd overlooked the fact that even an average artichoke can indeed obtain a driver's license.
Apologies...but my rockin' chair at the old folks' home's callin' me...and what with the changin' weather...mah rheumatizz iz actin' up agin...

I dissagree with the idea that arrogance make a good leader.
Like I would trust the FAAs word on health and well being. ...So please forgive me if I do not take comfort in the fact that the FAA has cleared you for flight.
Looking down on someone because they are a prick is different than looking down on someone because of their job. I can see that from your perspective that might be difficult to discern.EastUS1 said:P.S. Whew! That last is comforting. One might "almost" have imagined otherwise.
As if I have to justify or prove anything to you.EastUS1 said:1) An honest question: In exactly what circumstances were you ever a leader? An honest answer would both help the proceedings here and do you great credit.
2) Then why have such mindless devotion to the supposed "wisdom" of all things government?...Or does "government," in your "mind", amount to a "Big Brother", suitable for somehow enabling your thwarted personal fantasies of power over others, that you insanely imagine will always cater to your personal whims? You've put forth ordinances and law as though all were unquestionably cut from Mt. Sinai, no matter how friviously or whimsically enforced, and yet you've expressed contempt for the government's evaluation/judgement on even just an individual person that you don't know? So then; you're unquestionably wiser than the government, but only when it suits your personal agenda? How are such logically conflicting notions even able to be contained within your head without it imploding? Do continue, as this is now getting clinically interesting...?
"Like I would trust the FAAs word on health and well being." So then; why should anyone blindly trust the government to make all determinations on even say, ebola containment?...Or disarming citizens?...Or determining what type health care you can have/etc?

Ms Tree said:As if I have to justify or prove anything to you.
I don't
And again I dont.

My experience has taught me that looking down on ones subordinates is most definitely not the most successful way of getting things accomplished as a team. Have had 'leaders' who felt that way and with out exception they and their team were less successful than those who were not 'looked down upon'. I chose not to take that route.EastUS1 said:
Sigh!...Proper points given for your very best attempt at "logical" argument in the whole history of these boards!
No matter really, as nothing said here's likely to change the course of any rivers, nor make the sun rise/set any differently tomorrow.
Have a fine evening.
P.S. Should the day ever come when you find yourself in a leadership position of any kind, you would need to the ability to not only not look down on any subordinate because of their job, but not even look down on them because they're a prick. Leading's all about getting tasks accomplished, and maintaining morale and group cohesion so the next tasking's also well addressed, and that's never much successfully done through "attitude", but by example....just sayin'....umm...but you bein' a liberal an' all, I'm sure you already "know" far more about it than I do....
Per: "1) An honest question: In exactly what circumstances were you ever a leader? An honest answer would both help the proceedings here and do you great credit." I knew nothing of the sort would even possibly be forthcoming, so no worries. Heck...just so long as a liberal can fantasize...well, why ever trouble yourselves with the real world or the experiences of others when forming any of your enlightened opinions of how things "should" be?
As I stated earlier, I have no need to prove anything to you nor anyone else on this board. Signals has been pestering me for who knows how long on my citizenship and he, as you can go on wanting. My personal life is just that, personal. I will disclose what I want when I want.EastUS1 said:3) "Does state government count?" Forgive my earlier disparagings, as I'd overlooked the fact that even an average artichoke can indeed obtain a driver's license.
A good and fair point. Since gentlemanly manners seemingly prevented you from doing so earlier; feel perfectly free on direct request to explain any/all evaluations you've received from even a state government then....? That's apparently a point of pride with you that I'd not wish denied proper public expression and appreciation.
Ms Tree said:I dissagree with the idea that arrogance make a good leader.
I think the lack of an answer has answered this. Leaders know when to admit they're outside their sphere of knowledge.EastUS1 said:1) An honest question: In exactly what circumstances were you ever a leader? An honest answer would both help the proceedings here and do you great credit.
