East recalls

I am not sure what your seniority is Davo, but recalling senior people will not gain you seniority.. The only thing that will gain anyone anything is to diplace the junior people from DCA to CLT which in turn will cause displacement from PHL too. I see a lose lose situation all around here...

Correct me if Im wrong but the only people left to be "re-called" gave up their seniority and will be junior to the last hiring class of 2001. Check out the seniority list published in Jan 2010. These people left with some type of "limited re-call" program. Im not sure of the details so dont quote me. All I know is from looking at the seniority list I am senior to people with hire dates well ahead of mine. Would these people come back if re-called"? Doubtful. Having said that the best hope is new hires.
If you check out the CLT crew news for May. Mr. Adler says some type of resolution regarding the "Charlotte shortage" should come by August 1st... He says he doesnt want to desplace for 2 months and then displace again. Seems like August is a bit late to displace considering school starts back up in August and September. Lets just say the company screwed up scheduling this summer.

You are forgetting the original VF's that are now going in inverse order. We stopped at around 1997 as I remember. They either come back or resign. However unlike the VFLR group, these maintained seniority and shadowed us as we closed bases ect. Everyone coming off that list of 500 people would be senior to you (sr to 1997) and go to whatever base they could hold. After that list is done we start with the VFLRs you referred too.

Dec 2012 I think. I was just answering a question. Since this pertains to pilots only it really should be in the pilot's thread.
