Unfortunately due to emergency meetings on Capitol Hill regarding this very topic, Doug is now unable to appear on the show tonight. However, the Air Transport Association’s CEO James May will still be a guest tonight. I wonder if most viewers think this overall airline discussion on Larry King is about US Airways only since they keep playing video of US Airways aircraft.

I have seen UAL, AC Virgin Atlantic and SWA but the focus is on US

And did you notice from those live shots of Terminal 1 at LAX that the three US Airways are just sitting at the gate, while Southwest, Virgin Atlantic, etc. all seem to be on the move - landing, pulling into the gates, pushing back, taxiing or taking off?

So there's an emergency meeting on capital hill concerning fuel speculation. The CEO of the ATA, which represents 21 airlines including all the legacy carriers, doesn't need to be at this emergency meeting so shows for Larry King but the CEO of the smallest legacy carrier skips out on Larry King to attend. What am I missing here......
