The Biden administration has been accused of creating unneeded government jobs to hide the HIGH unemployment rates from the public.
Government in general has been accused of laundering tax dollars to enrich politicians and their connections.
Do you believe either one of those things is not true?

I dunno...but here is a good conspiracy theory making the rounds on the the left...lets' see how it compares to some of yours. Given the large turnout at protest marches, Trump will declare martial law on April 20 and use the US Milliary against American citizens. It sounds crazy I know, but I am a little hesitant to dismiss it since there has been a bunch of military helicopters flying very low ovre parts of city in for "urban combat training"

Assume Biden DID hire a bunch of unneeded employees to boost the jobs numbers. Do you really want to carry the tax burden of employing unneeded people in our government.
Assume politicians ARE using government programs and NGOs to launder money. Don't you want to put a stop to it?
Assume DEI hiring practices ARE filling jobs with incompetent people and sometimes creating dangerous situations. Don't you believe that should be addressed?
Which part of any of those do you find so offensive?

I find the way Doge is doing it to be horrible...There is no way that Biden could have hired so many people to impact the jobs numbers. Sorry. DEI may have hired some incompetent people, but I'd be willing to bet that MORE are just as qualified as you. You like Fox News? Is Harris Faulkner a DEI hire? She's a black woman. If she was a government worker she would have been let go by the anti DEI initiative. She was a local news anchor here in Kansas City before going to Fox. Pretty good too. If you've seen her, could you tell me - DEI or not?
AS far as laundering money....LEon and his buddies slashed in a week and I'm not so sure that they found ANY money laundering. It likely took them 2 days to remember where to find the mens rooms, so I doubt they had time to find fraud and money laundering. It's easy to miss a lot when speed is of the essence. Slow it down and do a proper analysis before wielding the chainsaw. But here we are.

DOGE has shedded 280,253 federal workers and contractors across 27 agencies, so far. That would be slightly over 12% of the 2.2 MILLION jobs created in 2024 (using 2024 as an example). You don't think those kind of numbers would impact the jobs numbers?
No doubt there are very talented, educated, capable, and productive minorities filling positions.
Don't you think DEI hiring taints the accomplishments of those that actually deserve to be there? In my opinion using "checkbox" qualifiers based on, let's be honest here, mostly race is unconstitutional as hell, and maybe a bit insulting to minorities. Do you really feel it is appropriate to hire someone based on filling a quota? That is hardly equal and fair hiring practice.
Propping up someone that is obviously unqualified hurts us all, the person being propped up, the people having to carry them in the workplace, and the consumer.
It might be hard for an individual or a small business but with the resources at the government's disposal bolstered with A.I. I am sure it would not take as long as you think. It's not hard to spot BS when you start looking for it. Like for instance leasing an empty building. Providing aid for non essential activities in foreign countries. Ridiculous purchases. Silly science experiments or "studies".
You honestly believe all of that is legit and there is no money laundering going on? Are you even open to the possibility that politicians are laundering our tax dollars to buy favors and empower those that share a common agenda?
Don't you think our government should be as low cost and efficient as possible? After all you ARE paying for it, and it's not like you are given a choice.

But with the DEI initiatives under Trump, there have been no tests of the qualifications of anybody they fired. They just fired them. When you do all that in a week and have a mission of slashing jobs and ridding the country of "DEI" hires, odds are pretty good you might fire some very well qualified people.
Despite the DOGE chainsaw, the unemployment rate went up .2% That is "point two" percent. Also, were you aware that in the federal government, if an employee has worked there 10 years and transfers to a different department, they are considered probationary employees...and a lot of the jobs that were cut were people who may have taken the job in Trump's first presidency. But all of the cuts were probationary employees.
HOw do you determine who is DEI and who is qualified? How do we know that Harris Faulkner wasn't given the job over a better qualified white male? She seems to kiss Trump's butt as good as any white male reporter at Fox. Or if you are boarding a plane and notice that the captain is a black man. Is he a DEI hire or is he a less qualified black man who got the job over a better qualified white man? Do you feel the same if the left seat is occupied by a black female? If the pilot was a black female and the first officer was white male, and someone told you that one of the pilots failed 3 check rides before they were finally signed off, which pilot would you assume that applied to? And if you really feel that strongly, would you ask to deplane and wait for another flight with a better qualified pilot.
Trump blamed the DCA crash on DEI while bodies were still strapped in their seats at the bottom of a river. Very classy move from a very classy guy. THEN the right wing went crazy when they found out that the helicopter pilot was a woman....not just a woman... a TRANS woman (she wasn't but why stop a good conspiracy theory), The training pilot was male. And he was the one who said they had the plane in sight almost immediately. Shouldn't both of them have been looking for the plane?
Spot...analyze....find.....fire. All in a week. Sorry...not buying that.
