Interesting interview with Richard Anderson. As you all know, Delta & NW will merge. The new name of the carrier will be Delta and be run by Delta's CEO. Here's a link:

Some points that he made were:
1. The NW pilots would be brought under the Delta CBA.
2. If initial talks went south regarding pilot seniority, that ALPA had a LONG STANDING merger process that was effective. Further, that the new federal law (that mirrors ALPA Merger policy -- BTW) was also a vehicle that a new seniority list could be derived.
At no time during the interview did the CEO mention date of hire, length of service or fences. Imagine.
I wonder if the NWAL pilots are going to attempt make up a new union
