Speaking of a$$wipes, Capt. Steve Graham got me a years pay from Nic4Us. The PHX chief pilots are calling him in for counseling for abuse of the jump seat. Seems you kids have no idea or respect for the jumpseat that your predecessors worked to get. You are playing with something that is negotiated, and could very well be taken away. You kids just assume you can steal anything you want. Seniority, jumpseat, who knows what you will demand next. You need to learn a little respect and less entitlement.

If one was being honest with themselves, they'd have to come to the conclusion that USAPA, left to their own, could NEVER deliver the financial benefits of this MOU. APA delivered this and USAPA tagged along. Perhaps now would be a good time to reevaluate just how deep a hole USAPA has dug for its membership, and recognize this MOU for what it is...the only REALISTIC lifeline to an improved lifestyle. Without the merger or MOU it's loa93 for several more years. It's the only rational conclusion. You should be thankful but we saw how fast gratitude turns to greed and treachery with East scabs. Luckily the vast majority get it. 78% pass. 12% no 10% fail to vote.
Trans States entitled child. Are you coming back? The lack of Nic has really got you spun. Say Hi to that guy Horner for us. You remind me a lot of him with that seething anger.

PS: I didn't figure for you the type that did such. Sadly; no shortage of those who very much appear to be deciding based on uncertainty and concern exists.

My guess is no small # feel that their existing 1/4 + century Los will protect them from the " uncertainties " going forward with so few years left. Some may be right.
However I loathe at the concept of being party to any future B-scalers plight.
Been there -done that 5 long years as a recipient .
We all need to act like a union protecting ALL equally from the last guy hired and most importantly any present involuntary furlough .

Leonidas, LLC was created in August of 2007 to safeguard the legal rights of the
former America West pilots in the face of the multiple threats before them at that
time. It was founded by two America West First Officers; Eric Ferguson and Jeff
Koontz. Those two pilots were introduced by a Merger Committee member by
the name of Kevin Horner who is now at American. In early 2008, the group
expanded to include Captain Roger Velez, from the Merger Fund Management
Committee. Since that time, the group has grown to include these nineteen

So this is where all the anger comes from?

So metroyet is wrapped up tight because he wants to come back West if the Nic came to be. Explains all the crazed postings. He would dump AMR and scurry back into a position that benefits him the most. Typical Westie. Always looking to one up someone for a personal gain. Pathetic. Hey Dave, you knew this all along didn't t you!

"I believe they'd like this MOU, but they don't need it."

Fair enough. So we must then assume they're suddenly willing to part with sizeable amounts of future monies just because...umm...WHY? "because the APA wanted us to have parity to prevent any whipsawing"..? Yeah..THAT sure "makes sense" and certainly seems in line with tempe's well known generosity of spirit and wallet at work here for sure. I'll just leave a tiny bit of food for thought via an old poker axiom: "If after the first 30 minutes at any table you dont know who the sucker is, it's you."

Makes merger costs more of a known and, as I've said, ties up loose ends. And it brings us up to parity which makes the APA happy. And a happy APA is important to Doug.

A no vote's essentially a reasoned wager...

You're being too generous using "reasoned" to describe that wager. We lose and we're status quo for two years. If we vote yes, we make money. Look at the NAC's numbers and you'll see the difference CoC makes IF we'd win it - we'd still lose. And that would be after all the grievance effort, appeals, etc. As Woody says, it takes a long time to win and a longer time to lose.

1 CoC has been a loser for us AND the IAM
2 We don't do well with grievances
3 The money CoC gets us is still less than the MOU (if you have numbers proving otherwise, I'd like to see them)

How is what your proposing a "reasonable wager"?

You are greedy, thinking of only yourself.

You remember that story of little Jack Horner.

"Little Jack Horner
Sat in the corner,
Eating a Christmas pie;
He put in his thumb,
And pulled out a plum,
And said 'What a good boy am I!'

"This has been taken to suggest that the rhyme was well known by the early eighteenth century. Carey's poem is a satire on fellow writer Ambrose Philips, who had written infantile poems for the young children of his aristocratic patrons. Although several other nursery rhymes are mentioned there, the one about Little Jack Horner has been associated with acts of opportunism ever since."

Is he as good a buddy as Yeager?

I never flew with Yeager but I did fly with Horner. Also worked with him on some very important stuff and became friends. Do you have any clue as to who he is?
One thing for sure, he is not an angry person. One of the most reasonable and thoughtful people I have ever met. If he blames any entity on the damage done to TWA pilots it's alpa and he might just have had something to do with alpa losing that DFR to them.

It's a shame someone of your low caliber believes he can throw Kevin's name around like you do. Lying about people can get you in trouble and maybe you're heading for some.

Your pal threw Mike Clearys' around for years. Maybe you ought to clean your own house first. He is just another Leonidas lowlife trying to make the best deal for himself.
Tell him thanks for the Lifelock. It came in handy when his Leonidas boys tried to access all of our personal files. Talk about heading for trouble.

Oh a west pilot threatening to sue, how refreshing.

"The named plaintiffs are John Krakowski, 44; M. Alicia Sikes, 51; and Kevin Horner, 47."

So Horner gets incensed when he gets stapled, yet green lights it when 17 year USAir pilots go behind AWA new hires. Talk about an opportunist. Then he tries to straddle this deal to benefit himself. Lowlife. You guys have to be the most screwed up bunch of pilots ever hired by anyone. America West. I always heard this was the place that hired all those who couldn't t go anywhere else. Now I know why.
Identity theft assisted from the inside. Now the guy that gives the info moves from the Chief Pilot office to a spot on the NAC. God help us all.
