Anyone got a handle on the mou flow chart concerning a realistic time frame of implementation . Assuming it passes ratification .

For example : east short call reserve guarantee drops from 76 to 73 hours or an immediate 4% cut in current ( below industry ) wages. Followed by promises.

FA

"18:
b. This Memorandum shall become applicable to USAPA upon the later of (i) the:
If recommended, the ratification vote of USAPA’s membership shall be completed no earlier than approval of the Merger by AMR Corporation’s Board of Directors and no later than 60 days after such approval (if any)."

So if I'm reading this right, a majority NO vote leaves ample time to rectify some blatant inadequacy's pointed out thus far.

No long call. More days off. Perhaps a higher guarantee could be part of the JCBA. Dairy Queen gift certificates?

From the CLT meeting today in responses to a direct question about the Nicolau award:

- The MOU does not implement the Nic in anyway or form.

- The JCBA does not implement the Nic in anyway or form.

- There will be two parties in the seniority negotiations - APA and USAPA. Company is a neutral observer.

- If APA becomes only bargaining agent prior to SLI completion, USAPA merger committee continues SLI negotiations until complete, with no interference what so ever from APA.

- USAPA is only entity responsible for submitting US list. Company does not present the list or SLI proposal.

- USAPA will not be presenting the Nicolau.

- Not impressed with the professional negotiator.

- The MOU is probably a much better deal for APA than for US, but theme was "best we could get, and better than alternative. Did you see the better pay rates?"

You know, I've been thinking that the moderators should start a soon-to-be-demised US pilot forum with a variety of topics. I mean the possibilities are endles. The LOA, The MOU, The Nicolau, The East vs. West, The Merger, The GPS on Move2CLT, The APA for US, etc.,

Oh, if that's what they're telling you in CLT...I guess this thing is over.

Yet,

Have not been to 1 of these shows so just asking.
1- are the 2 phx NAC guys also at clt meeting?
2- if yes, have you contacted them so see if above is also what they heard or said?

Scherf was at meeting today, he tried to give a speech instead of asking questions after the presentation. ...

but here are my notes.

Per Pat S
Company does not have to certify lists.

Company as part of the MOU will be neutral

Company under MB waived how list is constructed but will be involved to make sure it meets no bump no flush.

list presented will be DOH.

when senority is settled and we have a contract west can sue if they wish.

Per John Ownes read section 10d , 10 g , 10 h

Ratification of MOU does not trigger NIC

additional items.

Per AA union rep there. UCC really wants this, his estimate per what he knows and has heard is 95 percent chance will happen. Thinks they are working on exit plan for Horton and crew.

There is force majeur but it is more specific in scope. Can't go on indefinetly and claim an event years down the road, Company will have ot identify the force majeur event and make their claim on it. Industry leading language.

Per AA rep, no forced upgrades to captain during duration of AA contract plus 30 months. the new AA contract.

PBS with auto trip trade system per senority being develped. If trip opens with less than 3 hours, jungle rules.

PBS will close on 8th of prior month.

RSV can call out of time at 85 hours vs 3 month rolling average.

we gave up

OUR code on AA flights.
Change of control and LPPS
MIN fleet and daily utilization
But 90 HR cap and 85 for RSV out of time calls for east needing

50 More pilots
West needing 171 pilots.
East to west vacation 77 JOBS

but reduction of 2 to 3 percent equals 300 less jobs so no net effect.

Concessions mon block is now 12 month rolling period instead of month to month excludes group 1

East block now 648,000 and new block hour MIN 664,000

Yes, you take a 3 hour hit to reserve guarantee, but you get a substantial raise in hourly pay. Slice it any way you like, it is a nice raise.

That's what you have been told for some time now. Too bad you let Clear and Nic4us lead you down their fantasy path. Their fantasy was fully grasping and spinning anything they could get their grubby little hands on.

Thanks to you and others for the updates. Much appreciated. I will also be glad to get rid of protecting EVERY weekend day as a blockholder. Also heard there MIGHT be the ability to pick up trips for "extra" pay for reserves on days off. Anyone ask about that? As to Roland, he is very soft spoken. Comes across much better with some amplification. I have seen him "let loose" and when he does his 40 years of experience comes through loud and clear. But that is your perception, thanks for your thoughts. Greeter
