Point of fact - we were actually in bankruptcy and on the verge of liquidation

Point of fact - America West was not in bankruptcy nor was it preparing to file.

Blinders? Yes. You've got a few layers worth.

Point of fact - American is in BK, US is not.

Point of fact- IMO, you would cheerfully sign onto anything anyway, regardless of how inferior the deal is to the non-BK side's pilots/workers/etc, in complete opposition to your supposed "logic" posted above.

Didn't have to do with him, do you think that maybe the company had the opportunity to exploit our differences?
Which group of supremely arrogant, self important asshats delivered those differences wrapped up in a perfect package? Hint: you yourself helped craft this present in the back of a van. You deserve to be the miserable failure you are. Your career is befitting of a hypocritical, immoral coward-bully you've proven yourself to be. Now that it has all blown up in your face...as predicted years ago...you slither off pointing fingers and blaming every conceivable entity for your self induced problems. I don't know where you get your financial information from, but we and only we were in bankruptcy. America West wasn't even close to filing and I challenge you to find even one article that indicated their bankruptcy was imminent. You, like many others, seem to find some solace in that thought. Are you trying to level the playing field with the west? And even if they did file, how long did we muck around in bankruptcy?

Point of fact - Parker doesn't care about what we think. That's more than obvious.

And what are you going to beat the company over the head with to get that better deal? Scope? CoC? Sounds like you've got the company over a barrel Major. You should tell Dean to what you have so he knows to get even more.
 
EXACTLY, you westies have been trying to take advantage of a tragic situation. In 1998-2000 Things were good and Us Airways was hiring and doing well... 9-11 that tragic event changed everything, and DCA was closed for over a month. we had over 400 jets and Good old Rakesh used the situation to downsize...

It is no fault of any pilot on the east that they laid off pilots, but as you may not know as your new to the business. The airline industry is cyclical...

Stop trying to make hey out of a bad situation...

You don't want to just keep what you have because you have nothing ie PHX..

instead you want to take from US....


I remember flying in to DCA in 98-00, USair was losing $1 million a day and you were making your full pay to the last day rates. You could have cared less the company was losing $$. I got mine!!

You blame everyone but yourself. You should have looked into the mirror then.

What was it Wobbling Woody said, oh yeah, we're not the ones in bankruptcy. Shoe seems to be on the other foot now doesn't it.

First, ALPA is gone and you're correct. But your belief in "their promise" is still here.

Second, Steve Bradford initiated the suit, not me (and who voted for him?)

Lately, thank you for admitting my point that the PHX reps have a "scorched earth" policy. Now, can you tell me who was the last "leader" in history who advocated that very same policy? (Jeopardy music here....)

3 reps can stymie the entire BPR??? That's right, PHX has the uber votes.....

Continue to blame ALPA and the west. Denial ain't just a river in Egypt.

Oh, I see more clearly now = It's the degree of bankruptcy that's the determing factor, and even though US is currently showing profits and AMR in BK, AMR's people should get a much better deal...well...umm...nope, that didn't really help...I'm still a bit confused about your "logic" in all this.

If both scope and CoC weren't of the slightest interest or value; well..why is it such a point of the company's to want to be rid of both? Just asking, without any expectation of a reasoned response, as your sort, in my estimation, would surrender to a passing Troop of Girl Scouts selling cookies, without so much as even questioning your desire to immediately do so. No matter, I suppose.

You west pilots are so clever. You make fun of a full figured woman in your avitar. Then you use a cliche like "denial ain't just a river in Egypt'. The East pilots feel so intimidated by you I am sure.
