And Colonel, do try to read the literature. You'd have a better idea of a max timeline.

IMHO, this will all be done before the year is out - incl SLI.

Which part of the rates don't you understand?

I neither said nor asked a single thing about the rates, but merely noted that all should consider the agreement in depth...without, I'll again note, having any concerns for anyone's hysterics.

The "Piedmont Principle" is alive and well. (I should know because I was hired Piedmont and saw it first hand. Ask trader jake)

If by the "Piedmont Principle" you mean that a guy who can hold Captain on an airplane is senior to a guy who can't, it is indeed alive and well as demonstrated by the last four pilot seniority arbitrations.

I will agree with you on one point: Cactusboy is a standup guy and a standup rep. Other than that....

A final and binding arbitration result is not a blank and your DOH mantra is not a kevlar vest.

Seniority has not been the only thing between east and west. Look back on how ucrapa has treated the west starting with the RICO suit and on to how the appeals board election results were handled.

The west does not perceive the APA as a political enemy but we certainly do perceive ucrapa that way.

Please don't EVER refer to us as your "west brothers and sisters". UGH!

We have very little in common and even if we do it is too little and way too late. There will never be unity between east and west.

Most of us out west cannot wait until ucrapa goes away and most of us are willing to bear a little more pain just to ensure that the east finally gets what it deserves.

Good, so now every West scab I see I can just say kiss my a$$. Since you all feel that way then please do not bid East . LOL. You Westoffs really are full of yourselves.

We've got guys saying Cat Piss, etc on the radio and you're telling the west to grow up? And add our jesters Claxon, luv, and MM and all you sound like is a hypocrite there Colonel.

I suggest you leave the sermon to someone else.

Since I brought up the Cat Piss remark, let me be clear: I never told the west to "grow up."

Maybe "Get the f--- lost!" But whether or not the west grows up is irrelevant to me.

Vote no on the MOU so they can't take away COC, profit sharing and give us more of a signing bonus. Then, when they do what they want anyway we can file a grievance, just like in the past.

What's our grievance record, by the way, and how long do they usually take to resolve?

Urge you all to vote no on this until we can make substantial changes to this document

That is quite a list you have.

Just what is your plan to get anything you have listed here? Vote no then what?

What is the leverage or the ability to even negotiate if the MOU fails?

Sigh!...So then; any perceivable improvements must result entirely from managment's moral notions that "It's the right thing to do", or the generous spirit so well proven thus far? ;)

Which part of the rates don't you understand? Would you rather be under LOA93 rates or MOU rates until the POR then APA rates with retro while the JCBA is negotiated?

Depends. If the mou includes the NIC I would rather be on LOA 93. And since your such a cheerleader that we are going to be stuck with the NIC. Then you can guess how I will vote

Are those valid pionts Clear?, are you happy with this MOU, I would think you westies would want more there does not seem to be to much in for you kids, but than again you have always been on the bottom, our boys are desperate too it seems, crumbs for the little mice.. How could Hummel give away our C of C, one of the best in the industry and get nothing for it, if eneryone wants this merger so bad seems to me that might be some leverage there.
I personally could care less if this goes through or not, but that's me. We were short changed on this MOU pay should start higher and alot more than 10 grand.

Not a cheerleader by any stretch but I am realistic. If you want to stay on LOA 93 and its worth it to you, you're choice. I've already voted for the MOU. Its funny when you look at it. Take Glynn for instance. He's a junior 737 CO now and will be until he retires. On the Nicolau, he would have ended up a junior 737 CO, just as he is now, but with a few $100K more in pay and retirement.

We sure showed them. And I don't believe this will be even remotely close so we'll have to drag you into this kicking and screaming.

The DFR threat hasn't disappeared. The company hasn't gotten an answer regarding its liability should it accept anything other than the Nicolau. Silver spelled it out to us about a LUP. I haven't heard a legitimate LUP from my reps or anyone else from the BPR. And the west has merit minus ripeness. They'll have ripeness soon enough too. If you were the APA and the company and wanted to avoid litigation, wouldn't you avoid the case that has been proven to have merit? I would.
