Although I have not seen this writing I was told that the last toffer was 15%
Lose 5 more holidays
no premium pay
first 5 sick days 50% pay
no supervisor pay
no shift diff.
no paid lunch on diff shifts.

boy what a disgusting offer. i wouldnt even let my pet airdale even vote on that!
how about a mgmt contract--outsource the ceo, outsource al crellin, and the remaining clowns as well as the rsa clown. another mgmt contract can be this way--they get no pay for the next 5 yrs, no bonuses, must take back evry single dime from the last few clowns that left, they get absoluetly no respect from employees, no sick days, they get lesst than 10% of their first 2 sick days and so forth on!!!!!

We have to remember, Jerry Glass is out to get every last drop of blood from everyone. Send this out for vote and we can immediately turn it now and try again. CCY has no regard or respect for any employee and only want to squeeze us out. SEND THIS GARBAGE BACK TO THEM.

I think if the company was even offering anything close to what was described above we would have a TA. I heard that the company is still asking for basically what they have from the beginning and that all the CWA is doing is preparing for the court hearing.

Got email from union president lastnight and yes DOC is correct 15% cut from company.

Union wants 6% ...

Seatacus,

That's a good policy, but I fear it is the case.

A moot point, as I'm sure the Palace will ask for the full monty tomorrow.

Fuzzy Math: how can 15% = 23% ?

Don't let 15% fool you. Like past go-arounds, the company first seeks an x-percentage of savings, then later demands of us a smaller, more appealing percentage, when in fact they've only disguised the original percentage by cutting compensation elsewhere, ie. 3/4 vacation pay, higher health insurance contributions, etc.

Yes, the exec's might not know a thing about running an airline, but they sure know how to work their "fuzzy math". Slippery bunch, indeed.

They'll leave, you won't. Its that simple.

If you really want to know what is going on with the CWA call the following number; 1-800-559-0579

No Supervisor pay??? That should attract some real quality leaders on your shift!!
It was bad enough that they were only paying them .50 extra an hour to deal with all of the extra crap. This is the reason that we see a bunch of unexperienced clowns trying to lead a group of workers. One would think that you want to attract some senoir people to do this job. Don't they want to keep all of the " Talent" On Board like they do in Upper Management?

no they want the least most experienced folks so that they can pay lower wages
however mgmt only keeps their talent (if you would even call it that) by way of paying bonuses and raisies!

The supervisors in reservations make probably 20 percent more than the res agents, now with the proposed pay cut that is likely to be much higher. The airport supervisors on the other hand are CWA and part of the contract. I am not sure why a supervisor who has to deal with the passengers face to face makes so little compared to the res supervisors who have a customer service desk and only have to deal with an irate passenger when it has been passed through to two agents. Of course rumor has it that reservations will be restructuring and those supervisors will be reduced in number and payscale.

A CSS earns a whopping FIFTY CENTS an hour above an agent, while a FSA Lead still earns a $1 more an hour. Most won't even bother for the $1 due to the days off and being out of Classification for agent O.T. You can work one 8hr shift of O.T a month, and earn the CSS or Leads pay for the entire month.
