Company Can only afford 3% into your 401k

I agree usa1 but knowing those sorry arse clowns they wont want to give the employees squat

As a flight attendant member of the AA side of the family and over a certain age, I start getting a 10% contribution, not match, to my 401-K starting 01Jan14. I can't imagine that all of you would put up with such disparate benefits for long. When do you suppose that our benefits will be equal? And, will the solution be to raise your benefits or cut ours?

Most employees in the United States would consider a 10% contribution enviable.

That's what your union the CWA negotiated.

Do you think the CWA is doing a poor job 700? I have my opinion, just wondering about yours.

There is good and bad, the LOA CBA that wasnt voted on sucked.

But at least the scope language is pretty good.

Did I say it wasn't? I'm just saying that there is a distinct difference in what Mr. Parker promised the AA flight attendants compared to what the LCC employees are getting.

no, it was to usa1, he asked me a question and I posted it right under his post.

the us side has been putting up with it for yrs! :) itd be nice to see us all on equal benes and pays etc

Well when the time comes we will be one company how are the 401K's going to be contributed to each employee? Here at AA we are so lopsided in the contributions.

AA pilots get 16% with NO MATCH.
Flight Attendants get 10% with NO MATCH.
TWU members get 5.5% with MATCHING from the employee.

Even our worst scenario is more than your 3%.
I see lots of negotiating or bickering down the road for years to come.
We will never be an all one company. There will still be me and you and us and them and so on and so on........

US / CWA employees have suffered a lost decade, receiving only 3% for so long. If the company can afford to issue $15,590,728.56 worth of stock to Parker the CWA should go after our share.
