On the contrary UW, the HP flights are a priority in PHL- no kidding. They have started double-teaming them to the detriment of regular U flights. IMO the reason many if not all the HP flight leave late is the obsolete way they are worked. Three guys to park an A/C; three guys to push one, and lets not forget the chocking of every tire on the gate. Also, we're not used to all the paperwork for each flight. We heard that a massive amount of new equiptment is coming in november- hope it's not too late.UWCactus said:Hey guys in Philly...sorry to hear about your shortages there, sounds like a pain and hard to get work done. This may explain why some America West Flights have appeared to be "put on hold" by ground lately in Philly. The rumor mill here is that workers in Philly are disgruntled and put America West planes at the back of the line for on and off loading, marshalling etc. Is there any truth to this? or is it just that you are short equipment? I'll pass on my e-mail to Al..to also put a bug in his ear as a concerned employee, but it doesn't sound like you have too much confidence in the guy...whats the deal? We're not familiar with him here in Phoenix. By the way......they just took over, the have lots of legacy US Airways messes to clean up, give them a little time too...
