Cannot Connect to Shares - Try Later

When the ETC says that it cannot connect to Shares, and to try later, what exactly does later mean? 2010? I have not been able to connect all day.

I would like specifics on the fix to this employee system that simply does not work. I gave up 27 years of my life & can't even get on line to find out what flights might be open for me, at my "lowered" boarding priority. I try to keep a positive attitude, but this is so frustrating.

Any words of encouragement from anybody?

Have never been more frustrated in my life. And yet they have the money to give $100 to customer service employees as a bonus for their hard work.. I worked in Orlando & Pittsburgh when 400 calls on hold was a slow day... we never got a bonus... why not spend that bonus money on fixing the system?

Yes, even better, They've taken down the 800 number ability to list for a flight. You can check loads, but uhmmm...the computer voice is on speed and you have to listen to it 5 times to be able to understand it. The ETC has been out of whack since the cutover, the 800 number is useless...and when it says. Press #2 to be personally assisted by a customer service rep. It clicks and hangs up on you.

If I did my job at the level these jokers do, The airline would be out of bussiness for the number of smoking holes in the ground...
 
I got through to Res this morning at 0358 via the employee line. I've been trying to buy a companion pass for five days now using ETC and the telephone to no avail. The Costa Rican I spoke with apologized and told me that no one in the Central American office has been trained on how to ticket employee-related travel on SHARES yet.

I am officially defeated. Tempe, I give up--you win.
