Obama has an issue with reality. He thinks he lives in a country with 57 states, ability to move oceans and heal the earth.
I bet you believe VP Quail did not know how to spell potato(e). Given that you think pyramids are for grain storage very litte that you believe surprises me.

So, 5 hours into this news cycle, Politico changed both the title and content of the article.

Be Carson wins.

Ben Carson has further firmed up his Conservative base.

He will get a nice spike from this.

Here:

"Editor’s note: POLITICO stands by its reporting on this story, which has been updated to reflect Ben Carson’s on the record response. The original story and headline said that Carson’s campaign had admitted he "fabricated" a "full scholarship" from West Point, but now Carson denies that his campaign’s statement constituted such an admission, and the story and headline were changed to reflect that. POLITICO’s reporting established that Carson said he received a "full scholarship" from West Point, in writing and in public appearances over the years — but in fact he did not and there is actually no such thing as a "full scholarship" to the taxpayer-funded academy. And today in response to POLITICO he acknowledged for the first time that was not the case. Carson never explicitly wrote that he had applied for admission to West Point, although that was the clear implication of his claim to have received an offer of a "full scholarship," a point that POLITICO’s initial report should have made clear."

FWIW, I would rather have Ted Cruz than Carson. I know Cruz is simply pandering when he spouts crazy. He is very smart in a lawyer, political, and shrewd way. That can get you far in policy and politics.

Carson however, I beleive is just an idiot savant. I think he believes a lot of what he says and is being manipulated by some key whores.

In my opinion that is more frightening than a political truth bender.

Media speak for we effed up.
Politico has a track record of effing up.
Carson still comes out ahead.
I'd say out of the gate, he has more to offer than Obama ever did.
For the record, I don't know if I'd vote for him.

This should make some blood to boil.

You found a link to the 70s?  None of those scholarships are to West Point.

Dog, you going Politico on me?

I was going to ask you if you can get a link on that.

Free??  Somebody paid for it....I think I saw in that 2014 something about a stipend too.

That was the era where they were recruiting young blacks to move into and up in the ranks.

Those are post grad scholarships.

I found this from 1989:

http://www.gao.gov/assets/160/150845.pdf

Page five states its is fully funded by DOD. So Carson saying he was offered a scholarship isn't what I would call lying....if funding was the same in 1970.

When prospective candidates are being recruited by any school, they are told what they could have if they attend without signing up front.

Carson saying he was offered a scholarship or appointment obviously came from some recruitment effort.

So Politico is off it.....stretching it quite a bit.

Oh wow. Not sure who s better. I agree that Cruz panders but he is scarry in his own right. Im not convinced that either is better than the other.

Cruz is The Anointed One of the Christian Dominionist

Read up on them and make up your own mind

He goes off on some rant after she askis him what his plans for education are this country.

The guy is out there. I challenge anyone to listen to that entire interview. He seems to have been to Sarah Palin school. He will end up in the same light by the time he is done.
