I do not understand why the West Point issue is a big deal and why the comments about gays and prison, the earth being 6,000 yrs old, the big bang being a fairy tale and the pyramids being built for grain storage are being ignored.

I think not having an understanding or not accepting established science is of a far greater concern.

This is not personal.  This is about a religious zealot with no grasp of science.  Put him on the RNC ticket, go for it.  He and Trump are  DNC wet dream.  And in case you did not notice, republicans are going after him as well.
