The company has the balls to ask for $500,000,000 in savings at the maintenance base in Tulsa yet the TWU does not even have the balls to ask for Memorial Day off in return.

Another case of the TWU giving with nothing guarantee'd in return. Nice piece of negotiating boys!

Let's face it! The company is holding a gun to the TWU's head to cut costs further or outsourcing will increase dramatically. Anyone who believes this is a joiny TWU/AA lovefest is way off.

AA states that they keep 80% work in house. But every other major carrier is sending work to third party maintenance facilities.

The bottom line is that the $500 million dollars is an extremely high target and MUST be met OR ELSE!

Well their spending over $150,000 this week sending them all to PJ/orgy party 2. So I guess we owe, $500,150,000; I'll get right on that boss.

My bet is their just making it attrAActive so when ONEX(just bought the Boeing hangars in Tulsa and tried to buy CanAAdian Air with Carty in 1999)buys the base, they might get $500 million for it.
