I like this article UAL made an agreement with SFO to keep maintenance in SFO, you don't see the union running around saying I SAVED JOBS, or do you see a union running around saying "we'll take less money to save jobs." The unions have nothing to do with it, it's all business.

From a TWU website, read page 13, very interesting for base mechs. not only does TUL vote away our pay and benefits. but they will also lose jobs out of OH according to the TWU. The only good thing is, TULE will finally have to reap what they sow, meaing, living on the wages they voted in when they bump into NY, Calif, ORD, you can count on ORD sense there are mechs with 3/18/13 seniority. TULE mechs aren't all going to DFW. This will happen by 2017 according to the TWU.

If it happens the way it has in the past then the lower seniority guys will get DFW and the higher seniority guys laid off in the second or third wave will get to choose between LAX, ORD, JFK or LGA. You can bet on it.

What you don't realize is that USAIR is going to jump in and "save" tulsa by sending their planes here....
