AVL-CLT-PVD

Some call me "Old school". But I remember when working for (insert airline name here) was a sense of pride. That in itself is worth more than Dougwieser will ever know. We have the ability to make something great. We the employees are your MOST valuble asset.

we go on these sites and respond and its gets totally meshed. i do apologize for taking it the wrong way. ive never been a big fan of this internet thing but we just dont get it in the person sense . man i dont care what anyone says we are the BEST. we operate 70pct ive been tole of our operation in the most congested atc area of the US. of course we have the lowest scores.. the DOT should have how companies make out on the areas of the country.. hmmm we would still lose. we on this site have our opinions. and you know why. because we CARE and if we didnt do you think we would be still be chatting now... My family has always fought for the UNDERDOG. man forget the new movie it should be on US. to you my love to you and your family and for anyone else reading this. stick it out we are in this together.. WE make US fly....

Keep the love coming guys...we need to get our company back...even though I'm young compared to most of you guys...I want to see the US Airways legacy continue the traditional way...not the West way. Can anyone say Buyout... anyone?

i dont care what anyone says we are the BEST.

As a long time, customer, I agree. Before The Sand Castle got hold of US, I would NEVER, EVER have even contemplated flying another carrier.

What isn't "the best" at US is the management...and the tools the management has provided the real people that make the airline work. The reason I've left US as a customer is becuase (a.) the war the managment has waged on it's customers and (b.) the disdain the company has for it's employees.

I agree with what avion has said...and others. The REAL US people that built this carrier are GREAT people. That give and have given their all. PVD rocks...these people have been AMAZING to me over the years. And on the airplanes, I've been treated like royalty. Prior to this "version" of US, I had, MAYBE, one bag miss-connected in 15 years. I've flow to Europe in Envoy, and noted it was better then BA...or any other carrier (key word: WAS).

US Airways has carried me to my wedding...to one of your own by the way. US has carried me to births, to funerals, to parties, to work, to play, to almost anything that required travel. I was "Priority Gold Plus" in the old days....am still, for the time being, Chairman's Preferred today. I could argue, rightfully so, US Airways has been the single most important product and company in my life. I for one, thought the merger was going to add to the glory that was US in my life.

CLEARLY, it has not been.

Which is EXACTLY why it's been frustrating to watch the arrogance and the outright crap the Sand Castle has dealt out.

Anyway...it's been emotional for me as well. While most of my travel dollars now go to CO, I still have fond feelings and high regards for the great people, in the trenches, that make US go.

Too bad Snad Castle management does not.

thank you and believe me i dont know who you are but anything positive is a start.. the US/PI was not a happy marriage but easier in 1989 . what AA did to TW was appallying and ALPA approved it all so you can understand where the current issue with that is going on with US.. but im in customer service.. If we did not care here we would not be here..

full flights, great service, yet US keeps trimming away at the PVD schedule - ughh

I hope once things settled, PVD can get a PHX now that Southwest just dropped 1 or their previous 2 flights. A red-eye to LAS would be great too and probably only use an aircraft that RONs anyway...

Glad to hear positives about my beloved PVD!!!

There are great people throughout the system. If and when Parker and the sandcastle realize that their greatest asset is the employees of this company. This airline will thrive. The passengers will reap the benefits of this realization. We can only hope this comes before it is too late.

Southwest is nibbling away at so many of our markets. PVD being one.

I was so astounded one evening when we came in for an over night and they had huge banners hanging from the ceiling at the Southwest counters stating they were the carrier for Nascar!! No lie.

I don't follow Nascar and the races and I guess there must have been a race up there at the time but just the same....we should have had those banners. We are so lame when it comes to advertising. I don't know if Tempe realises what Nascar means in the way of being a huge money maker for US.

In fact, I think we should have a Nascar aircraft paintjob.

NASCAR is a little too high-end of a market for us. We are focused on the Monster Truck and/or cockfight crowd.

being the carrier that basically owns CLT, NC, you'd think there would be a clear connection between NASCAR and US that could be exploited.
