If you are asking my opinion, then the NIC isn't flawed:
* Protect those actively flying WB from being displaced (east only issue) - check;
* Protect NB captains from being displaced - check
* Protect active NB FOs from being displaced by those on furloughed status - check
* Place those on furlough junior to those who are actively holding their employment status and seat position - check.

What's not fair; what's not equitable? What's to renegotiate?

Nothing apparently. Enjoy PHX and your current wage.

Its OK. Redistribution of wealth is much faster if you just balloon the currency and pass out the new money via exploding social programs to the poor who don't work at anything, except voting more than once.
There isn't enough wealth to redistribute to fix this problem. We have about a $16 Trillion GDP and a $17 Trillion debt. If the Feds confiscated ever single dollar consumers spent at WalMart annually (not, profit and not just US revenue) it wouldn't put much of dent in the national debt. WalMart is the world's largest corporation and they couldn't redistributed enough of their revenue to catch up with with overspending spending in Washington. The wealthy are fleeing this country, finding any way possible to prevent the federal state and local governments from taking 40-70% or more of their income. If they can't escape highly punitive taxation rates that still don't fix the overspending problem, you should expect that they will just stop producing wealth and enjoy what they have instead.

You keep yacking about the exploding debt like it is a bad thing.

AG Scott Pruitt Asks DOJ to Allow American Airlines Merger to Proceed

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt on Thursday sent a letter to the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) urging the federal government to allow the merger of American Airlines and US Airways to proceed. The DOJ is currently challenging the merger based upon antitrust concerns. American Airlines, which currently employs more than 6,000 workers at its maintenance facility in Tulsa, is seeking to exit bankruptcy protection through a merger with US Airways.

“A review by the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office found no violation of the state’s antitrust laws in the proposed merger between American Airlines and US Airways,” General Pruitt said. “The proposed merger will actually benefit consumers by providing more choices and options through the larger combined network that the new American Airlines would provide.”

“Additionally, not allowing the merger to proceed creates continuing uncertainty for the thousands of employees of American Airlines,” Pruitt said. “The merger offers the most viable path forward to secure the maintenance jobs in Tulsa and ensure the continued economic prosperity of Oklahoma."

Where's Oklahoma?
Good question, had it explained to me bt a Texas University student this way, years ago.

there is a fault line (similar to the San Andreas in California) on the oklahoma and Texas border.
The only thing that keeps Texas from sliding off into the gulf of Mexico is the fact that "oklahoma sucks"...

PS: Texas university is located in Austin....

"The University of Texas" is located in College Station......Thus the name of the station.....;-)

Tulsa is pretty low on my bucket list, so I am not sure its time for me to complain about a drive I may never make.

I've never had the desire to drive through acid rain or enjoy the view of 3-Mile Island out my bedroom window either.

No problem with the acid rain.....the azaleas love it! USair just kept flying into MDT during the 3 mile island deal other than a couple of days right after the release. We still had 1 more child after that so that might not have been as bad as they make it out to be......of course my daughter who was conceived shortly after 3 mile island had the nickname of firestarter for the red glow that appeared in her eyes just before some weird stuff would happen.

Regards,

Bob
