Nevertheless, what you say is true, as far is it goes, but there can be no doubt that buying TWA hurt us grievously. AA has a history of bad purchases.

If AA had a crystal ball it would not have spent that money on TWA no matter how cheap it was. But they also would not have bought all those 737''s either. Look at how much cash they pissed away there!

ual made mistakes to like trying to merge with usair that cost them a lot of money and trying to get in on the excec jet deal. yea the rest of the industry is hurting. but carty made bad decisions.im not the only one who feels that way. so there must be a lot of ignorant people out there
