Is it true that the most hotly contested issue at the flight attendants' union is whether staff members will be allowed to dress casually on Fridays?

Doesn't this union have bigger challenges to address?

You ask that of the same group of people who reelected the most incompetent union president this union has ever known. As for the leadership of some of the some of the past presidents. That's really saying something.

Cathy Lukensmyer told the UAW represented support staff they could wear their UAW shirts on fridays, and apparently everyone is in a tizzy

Yes it's true.

If this is an indication of things to come flight attendants are in VERY serious trouble. :(

 Plllllleeeease!......... how easy some get distracted from the real issues by one t-shirt. I could care less if they wore them the entire week as long as they do their job.

FRIGGING UNBELIEVABLE!!!

just another trivial non-issue for them to have a hissy fit over....amazing what those people consider important!!! what a bunch of buffoons.

Yes it is pathetic!
Well, it is divided gangs. There is no room for in between.

Read the APFA Pity Party Post..........
I believe it sums up the flight attendants quit nicely.

It is my guess that the arguments about dress code are just signs of big internal conflicts within APFA.

Yes, that would be a correct assuption.

The apfa has lost it's clout, management does whatever they want and the apfa is powerless.

It will self destruct. It is just a matter of when.
