I'll admit ignorance....how does a pit bull assault rile compare to this perfectly legal, labrador retriever puppy semiautomatic rifle. If yhou ask me, it more than just LOOKS like an assault rifle.
Any chance you can explain why FEMA/DHS are supplying themselves plus state and local police with heavily armored personnel carriers and special assault vehicles?
Or recently have ordered 450 million rounds of .40 cal hollow point ammo and 175 million rounds of .223? The DHS is currently at 1.5 Billion rounds of ammunition stock piled according to there purchase orders.
Who do they plan on using these items on and whey do they need these?
A year or so ago FEMA upped their usual stock of ready meals on hand from 6 million to 420 million meals....
Any idea why they are doing these things?

Because gun crazed maniacs have been buying up any and all available assault weapons and distrust the government much that in the event of a disaster, the people who are trying to HELP are as well armed as the survivalist government haters so that they can defend themselves.
When folks like yourself paint the government as being "out to get us"....who believe that the shooting of 26 kids in an elementary school was staged so that they could take away our guns...that believe that the World Trade Center attack was planned not by terrorists, but by our own government, then people whose primary job is to HELP need to be able to protect themselves.
Remember that firefighter that was shot and the righties all said "if he only had a gun"? Well....Uncle Sam heard you. They are arming FEMA so they can defend themselves.

Sorry to imply you personally. But there ARE people that believe both Sandy Hook and WTC were government plots. There are people who ARE like you who distrust the government. There is such a distrust, and dare I say outright hatred of the government....especially this administration, that any government employee might well fear that some nut with a gun that can bump fire it's way into an assault rifle might view THEM as the enemy.
I don't want to distrust my government....if you remember, I believe I said if I found out my gov't was complicit in something like the WTC, it would tear my heart out.
But our gov't certainly leaves alot out there to make one wonder.
Did you know that in addition to all that ammo, at the same time they were taking bids for 450 million bullets, they were also accepting bids for rapid construction internment camps?
Internment camps in the 2012's??
