Another School Massacre

Even the right winger talk radio was going off on the arsenal. NOt in a right wing kind of way though. You know those mental background checks Wayne LaPierre opposes? Might have stopped this woman from writing her kid a check to buy a new gun. 17,000 round of ammo? Must be a rough neighborhood.

Have to get while the gettin's good..................and shhhhh, before Homeland Security buy's all the ammo !

Democratic Rep. Diana DeGette has been the lead sponsoron a federal ban on high-capacity ammunition magazines in two Congresses, saying it’s one of her top priorities.

But Tuesday at a Denver Post forumon the gun control debate, the senior congresswoman from Denver appeared to not understand how guns work.

Asked how a ban on magazines holding more than 15 rounds would be effective in reducing gun violence, DeGette said: “I will tell you these are ammunition, they’re bullets, so the people who have those now they’re going to shoot them, so if you ban them in the future, the number of these high capacity magazines is going to decrease dramatically over time because the bullets will have been shot and there won’t be any more available.”

DeGette is another dimwit Dem from the Peoples Republik of Denver. She took over the House seat formerly held by Pat Schroeder.
What does that tell ya? She must be related to KCFlyer.

Obama tells Denver democrats that Adam Lanza used a fully automatic weapon!

Now, over the next couple of months, we’ve got a couple of issues: gun control. (Applause.) I just came from Denver, where the issue of gun violence is something that has haunted families for way too long, and it is possible for us to create common-sense gun safety measures that respect the traditions of gun ownership in this country and hunters and sportsmen, but also make sure that we don’t have another 20 children in a classroom gunned down by a semiautomatic weapon — by a fully automatic weapon in that case, sadly.

The Liar-In-Chief strikes again. No one in the audience is the smarter . . . go figure!

Gun-rights laws gaining steam . . .

Arkansas eliminated prohibitions on carrying firearms in churches and on college campuses. South Dakota authorized school boards to arm teachers. Tennessee passed a law allowing workers to bring guns to work and store them in their vehicles, even if their employer objects. Kentucky shortened the process for obtaining licenses to carry a concealed gun.

Those laws, along with the long odds for major federal gun-control legislation, show how the march toward expanded gun rights in recent years has hardly slowed since Mr. Obama pledged to use the “full force” of his office to tighten limits after 20 children and six adult staffers were killed at an elementary school in Newtown, Conn.

This year, five states have passed seven laws that strengthen gun restrictions, while 10 states have passed 17 laws that weaken them, according to the Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence, which tracks and promotes gun-control laws. …
Among the bills awaiting governors’ signatures are a North Dakota measure that would eliminate prohibitions on carrying concealed weapons in churches and a Montana bill that would allow residents to carry a concealed gun without a permit. …

Don't be discouraged what you see on Obama TV.......there are more against gun control than support it....Its all Pravda Bullsheet.

Funny, things aren't going well for progressives on gun control......I wouldn't be too surprised by another 'tragic' incident to help sway the public mind.......I hope I'm wrong.

Dell, it took the mass murder of white kids in Newton to get their anti-gun mojo running. Kill 20 black kids in Chicago over a hot summer weekend . . . say what!
