I have locks on my doors. Most people are welcome. You SHOULD keep your gun accessible when you are home, kids or no kids, otherwise having a gun in a safe is useless.

however, when you and the wife leave the house and do not take the weapons with you, you should lock them up so your collective stupidity doesnt become anyone elses problem.

And ,if not,Hopefully you AND your wife get jacked with your own stolen weapon before you get to the store. (nah, i dont mean that)

Rights come with responsibility. Own up to them. It is your civic duty.

So what you're advocating is that I keep all my guns in a gun safe so it is easier for the criminal to take all of them at once? Got it.

BTW, my wife and I always have a minimum of one gun with us at all times when we're away from our secured home. Your comment doesn't offend me, YOU are the one at greater risk of not being about to, at a minimum, defend yourself from an armed assailant. If you are fine with that then so am I, I don't have a civic duty to protect you from your own stupidity.

First why would you have safe that is not secured to floor? Second. What are you going to do when someone steals your guns when your not home and uses them to honor kill someone else? How about when someone attacks you with guns they stole from someone else?

Why is it somuch an issue to say if you have weapons in your home they need to be secured in a safe when not in use or on your person? I don't get what th big deal is?

I'm going to defend myself to the best of my ability, up to and including lethal force even if I have to shot the MF'r in the back.

I live in a normal, middle class neighborhood with non-existent crime, I don't worry about my house being broken into and my guns stolen. Just curious, do you call your friends that have guns in their homes "dangerous cowards"?

Isn't it telling that Jetblast calls a law-abiding citizen, licensed and trained to carry a concealed weapon to protect his family members and self a "dangerous coward with a gun", yet, never once does he label the low life, hard core criminal that breaks into ones home and steals weapons to use against innocent citizens a "dangerous coward with a gun"!
