It wil be interesting to see if we get people who know maintenance running maintenance, or will we continue in the other direction...

Glad to see Maya and Will Ris made the cut. Will's pretty well respected in DC, and Maya's done more for morale in AA's IT department in the past 14 months than I thought possible after Darth Monte's reign.

Very upset Virasb Vahidi won't be staying on-board. As I have said before, this merger will be a disaster on so many levels.

Not all changes were announced to the public, US Airways' head of HR will remain at the new company. Conference call took place this morning.

I disagree, US is actually taking the best of both companies policies, I think they will get this one right.

Don't celebrate Jim Ream's departure just yet. This is just Parker's direct reports and the C-level positions (CMO, CIO, COO, CFO, etc.) --- Ream could very well survive in Robert Isom's world.

700, Elise's name was in the Reuters report, but they just didn't get her title right. She owns both HR and Comms.

Uh, not quite.

Virasb is/was CMO, same as Glenn Hauenstein. Ultimately, all of planning reported to him, but he also had the entire commercial organization, revenue management, and I believe also owned AAdvantage.

With the upcoming Operational management changes, I will have the opportunity to move on to new things and so I wanted to pass along some thoughts about my few years here but most importantly my thanks to you. This is a great team, and I’ve enjoyed being part of it.
While your professional attitude and pride is evident right away, what I found most impressive in my time here is the respect you all show in working with each other. This industry can be very difficult at times, but that fact didn’t interfere with the personal regard that the people of this division have for one another and that support creates a rare kindred spirit.
We faced many challenges over the past few years and I very much appreciate the effort and resolve to confront head on what needed to be done and then move forward to make this company successful. The next challenge, of course, is to bring these two airlines together and we all know how important it is to get that right. Given the talent level at this company, I believe all of the capability is in place to make this happen.
Thank you again for your support over these past few years and I wish each one of you continued success, both personally and professionally.
Sincerely,
Jim Ream

It is out, looks like all the operational people are coming from US.

That's a good thing, a VERY good thing. Good there will be an AA'er in charge of IT, AA has been more advanced there. Gov't Affairs-that's a "token" position going to someone very close to retirement age. The rest are the young US Airways folks which there NEEDS to be new, young blood at Centerport in the worst way.

Wondering what will happen with Eagle/Piedmont/PSA, etc

sounds like he is indeed the top person responsible for the network... and also has other departments related to it.
