AMFA Mechanics contract.08/ 2012

I would think 18. I am wondering when they will open up slots in Atlanta, milwaukee,ft lauderdale exspecially lead spots and inspection. I can imagine alot of our guys want to bid these stations and if that hanger in Orlando will be anything let's say C check. I would assume they need more spots there also .

Avtech04, damn f--king scab, you are probably a worthless mechanic at airtran and now are going to continue to be one at southwest, your too busy hiding who you are in life and behind the keyboard.

I was thinking local 18 but that would put them in complete control of votes. IV also heard that MDW wants to have there own local. Maybe put MDW and Atlanta in their own new local. That might make just that local 600+ strong.

Curious why you call Avtech04 a scab? Is it because he says and votes how he sees fit? I'm just curious so let's not get emotional about this.

Don't worry about these guys, they're obviously disgruntled with the situation and are using me as an avenue to let their anger out. They know who I am but they don't know its me :) and if they did, they would know that I'm no scab. I've taken bullets from managers for mechanics and even took responsibility for another mechanics mistake once because the guy was going through a rough time with his divorce, I got written up, 3 days off, but he eventually got through it and he still has a job, and with southwest no less.

These guys need to lash out at some one and I can take it, so be it.

We all took a hit in our seniority, 4 years! That sucks, but what can you do now.. Nothing! We might of gotten a better deal if the committee was never formed (as a lot are saying) or we might not have. The only thing I don't want is more of the same! All the back door management deals with our unions members support. See, The Teamsters are a strong union, they currently hold the largest hourly rate for any AMT, UPS @ 50.75/hr... Atlanta took it upon themselves, with Trebelcock guiding them, and formed a committee outside of the Teamsters, a commendable idea in order to get things moving along, but it still took damn near 2 years and we didn't go DOH! So, you still think the committee was a good idea?? or should we have followed suit, like the teamsters wanted in the beginning, and gone straight to arbitration? No one knows which would've been the best way for us (airtran) because it's all said and done now, we gave original SWA mechanics 4 years. So now, it's time to get past the old and into the new! We are all going to be SWA mechanics now!! And maybe, just maybe, these guys know what they're doing over there! They have the largest commercial airline salary (which you'll be taken part in), they've been around for a long time, they got us to give them 4 years... humm, that's a though one, I think i'll pick AMFA as my new union and SWA as my new airline, take my pay raise and try to enjoy the remainder of my career at my new airline, maybe you guys should get with the program... And if you really want to be mad at some one, you should be mad at the people who put us all in this situation from the beginning!! in the mean time, if you need me to be your punching bag, go right ahead!

I want you to address why Avtech is a scab. .Did he cross the AMFA picket line or perform work on NW aircraft?..Or cross on any other airline on strike?..Because if he didn't you need to shut the F'K up. ..I lost everything in a REAL strike in 2005 and your beloved reamsters and Jimmy Hoffa had no problem walking through our picket line and flying NWA during the AMFA strike that is as close to being a scab as it gets.

So are you saying you don't care for T-cock a sorus ? I Still wonder why these guys dislike you because almost all the AirTran guys voted yes for this Intergration. Sorry missed it .I see it now, it's from all your blogging.

SCAB---Definition
Employee who (1) continues to work during strike action at the place of work, (2) accepts work where strike action is going on, (3) takes work in a non-union shop or (4) under non-union conditions where a union is trying to organize a unit. Also called black leg.

You should be careful how you use the word SCAB!!! So if you want to call someone a scab you better have proof to back it up or shut the Fu@k up!!

Now, I'm really curious.
What does this avtech04 guy really say?
- they know who I am, but don't know it's me. Whee! Smiley face.
- he's not a scab. (He just acts like one. Beyond the dictionary definition, there are other ways to describe a scab.)
- he's not in Atlanta, but knows all about Atlanta.
- he thinks that AT mechs would've gotten a better deal if no ATNC had been formed. Or we might not have.
- he's not disgruntled, but had Trebilcock picked him to be on the AT Neg Cmte, things would be different. He knows what 'attitude' it was that cost us 4 years of seniority.
- he took a 'bullet' for a guy. But he has no problem throwing his other brothers under the bus. He tells things like it is. What a trooper.

I feel like having a contest. Smiley face. Whee.
Let's rename avtech04. Most votes win. Thanks Guys!!!

1. weaseltech04
2. blowhardtech04
3. fencesittertech04
4. screwyourbrothertech04
5. holierthanthoutech04
6. brownnosemastertech04.

That last one is my favorite. Polls close in 5 days.

Acquirednothired- do you work for SWA or AT? And I'm talking right before the buy out? Just because he disagrees with how the ATNC represented them in no way means or says he is a scab! How he blogs on this site or what he says does not mean he is a scab. And another thing how the fu@k does upper mgmt (T-Cock) decide who was on that cmte

Damn phone!!

Anyway just so it's clear our upper mgt has no say who is on our cmte. Some union the IBT is to allow this to happen. And also the 4 year bump was the best the AT guys would have done as we (AMFA) would have not signed in another contract and there for y'all couldn't have touched our metal. That is fact!! And if y'all would have worked our metal then y'all would have been scabs!!! Anyway if y'all have proof of someone being a scan then bring it fwd. and if your just calling him a scab because you dislike him then use another fu@king word!!! I'm all about freedom of speech and everyone has a right to say what they want and if you don't like it then don't listen.
