1. sk call...thats policy,deal with it.
2. So they provided you with a coffee machine, nice. Now do like the rest of us and start a coffee fund!
3. Reclining in chairs @ work? Besides being stupid its also a safety issue. You fall and bust your noggin` then you will be wanting IOD! All we have/had are benches.
4. A screw up on pay/hours happens. In 22 years Ive never NOT had it made right. I`m guessing you are stretching a bit on that one.
5. You sure it was for the vest and not for reclining in the break room?
Cactus you sound like the cartoon character for whiners. I certainly am glad the TWA guys on my crew are not cut from the same cloth as yourself. Enjoy your time at US, you would never make it on my crew.
Remember it was my choice not to b on your crew...I resigned

Let's get back on topic. Let's start a pool on how long it will be before Delta offers the AA creditors Top Dollar for the Routes it devours and then feeds the leftovers to the remaining airlines. It's funny how history repeats itself Delta/Pan AM in 1991.Good Luck Fellas..Ha Ha

DL suffered about $2B of losses trying to digest Pan Am.... alot of DL's cuts in the mid 90s wouldn't have happened if they didn't have to recover from buying the Pan Am assets....
but it is also worth noting that the Pan Am acquisition was the platform which DL used to build its presence in New York, where it built a presence comparable to pre-merger CO... how the slot deal helps DL grow relative to combined UA/CO remains to be seen but DL did stick out the PA acquisition and made it work.
.
It is also worth noting that DL hired more PA employees than any other airline, including UA which acquired PA's LHR, Latin, and Pacific assets.
.
Indeed, DL has retained more of the networks and employees it has acquired through mergers than perhaps any other US airline.
